Breakfast was a continental buffet with a variety of cheese, meats, bread, fruit, and cereals. A short walk from the hotel is a large selection of shops, cafes, bars, and restaurants. This time I chose to stay at the Auberge Saint Pierre Hotel. It is easy to find. Enter Mount Saint Michel and follow the main road to enter the city gate and walk to the storefront of 3-4. Outside the window is the mountain road that extends in all directions. The room is spacious and bright enough. The hot water for washing hands and the hot water for bathing in the bathroom are two pipes. The hot water for the shower is cold for 10 minutes, and the hot water for washing hands is second. Finally, you can wash your hair with the hot water of the wash basin. Then the restaurant on the first floor of the hotel was full of people. The fish and lamb chops we ordered were not as delicious as the waiter recommended, and there was some stomach trouble afterward. It was not recommended for eating.

What did I enjoy the most? It’s the convenience where it is walkable from anywhere you want to explore around Pontorson, few mins walk from train station too. The rural French-feel, tasty breakfast prepared with utmost care, and the warm welcoming smile from staff. Bonus, there’s a pool too! Wonderful stay here and I would definitely book again given another chance. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The room was incredibly comfortable and pleasantly cool, which was a huge relief given how hot the weather was in France. It was also very spacious, and having a fully equipped kitchen allowed the two of us to cook our own meals easily. The location is excellent—there is free parking on-site, and it’s only take 15-minute drive to Mont Saint-Michel. It’s also very convenient for day trips, taking just over an hour to drive to Cancale and St. Malo, and there’s a convenience store only a 10-minute drive away. On top of that, the beautiful swimming pool and peaceful surroundings made our stay even better. The self-check-in process was seamless and hassle-free, which we highly appreciated since we arrived quite late that day. Highly recommended!

Love staying at La mere poulard. Love everything but the flies which I think it’s hard to get rid of due to the location. It was beautiful otherwise. Breakfast was yummy. Just go early like 8 or 9 am And be grateful… make sure to greet the staff and say thank you. It’s the other way around in Europe just to have your manners. Learn Bonjour and merci … it will make a big difference!!!!

The reception and my hotel room were like 200 M away from each other. In the afternoon, the path is crowded by tourists visiting the Mont-St-Michel Abbey, which makes your walk to your room not so easy. However, since your hotel is on the island, you can enjoy the walk through Mont-St-Michel in the night or early morning, when there are almost no tourists.

I didn’t experience his spa, but I feel that the house with hotel characteristics is really old. The lights in the corridor occasionally flash a little scary. But although the room is old, it is clean and tidy.
