The location is excellent, close to the holy lake and convenient for cycling around it. You get a great view of Mount Kailash from anywhere in the hotel. We stayed in a suite, which had a hot spring bath with rose petals in the room – the water temperature was just right and very comfortable. The shower had great pressure, was very comfortable, and the temperature was stable. We had a very comfortable stay. The front desk lady was incredibly warm, helpful, and went out of her way for us, even helping with our luggage. They offer free ******* clothing for photo ops, and she enthusiastically helped us put them on. The public dishes were a bit bland for my taste as I love spicy food, so the owner specially stir-fried a chili pork dish for us and didn't even charge for it. It was incredibly delicious, and I was very touched. We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. If it weren't for our schedule, we really would have loved to stay a few more extra days. The location is very convenient, just a 10-minute walk to the circumambulation entrance. The breakfast was plentiful with a wide variety. Although there were many guests, the staff were very efficient. The cleanliness was average; the kettle was a bit dirty and had some grime on it.

The environment was just okay, and there seemed to be a shortage of staff, but the service was still good. The two young staff members were very service-oriented, always ready to answer any questions from guests. However, during peak season, the hotel price was quite high and didn't really match the quality of the environment. Also, there was no breakfast provided, which I knew when booking. Breakfast options can be limited in high-altitude areas.
