"As a couple self-driving tourists, Cat Nest B&B gave us a surprise beyond expectations! The B&B is located halfway up the mountain in Tangjia Shop. The window is a stretch of green mountains and sea of clouds. It is awakened by birdsong in the morning and sleeps in the starry sky at night. It really realizes the dream of ”living in the scenery”. The design of the room is simple and stylish, the log wind is matched with floor-to-ceiling windows, the mountain view is unobstructed, the bedding is soft and comfortable, the bathroom is separated from wet and dry, and the details are attentive.
Service highlights:
- Butler service: The boss and the front desk lady are warm and thoughtful, contact in advance to confirm the itinerary, and upgrade the ”Garfield Room” for free after arriving at the store! Welcome fruit is also presented, and Pingshan Canyon Raiders and free pick-up service (about 20 minutes drive) are actively provided, which is worry-free and labor-saving.
- Cat control paradise: The homestay is well-deserved! A few chubby English short, Siamese cats are lazy and paced in the public area, and their relatives are able to walk, adding a sense of healing to the journey.
- Special dining: The restaurant is independent of the accommodation area, quiet and private. Tujia bacon hot pot, stewed potatoes and other farm dishes are authentic and delicious. The whole grain porridge and handmade steamed buns for breakfast are healthy and warm. The ingredients are mostly picked locally, so you can eat at ease.
Tips:
In peak season, you need to book in advance, some room types are tight; the mountain road is slightly narrow, it is recommended to use navigation to slow down (the hotel has detailed guidelines).
In one sentence:
”Cat's nest” is not only a homestay, but also a paradise! 💯 Suitable for couples/family who pursue natural tranquility and humanistic temperature, I will visit again next time!"
