The rooms are clean, tidy, and cozy, with thoughtful details and soft, comfortable bedding for a restful sleep – a true cure for travel fatigue. The owner is warm and welcoming, patiently answering all your questions and even offering helpful recommendations for off-the-beaten-path experiences. Excellent value for money! I'll definitely choose this place again for my next family trip; it's already on my travel bucket list!

GGuest UserAfter a long time of selection, I chose this one. It really didn't disappoint me. It is indeed the best homestay in Fuxian Lake. I can stay there quietly for ten days or eight days. It is very close to the lake. I took a walk on the wooden plank road by the lake in the evening and watched the sunset. It's so beautiful. The B&B actually has a professional chef who provides private dishes. You can park at the door. It's worth staying again. Unfortunately, I only stayed for one night due to time constraints. MMountain/\AshThe entry is so calming. A nice open space with plants all around. The Chinese couple owning the Hotel were very sweet even though we couldn’t converse with them (they didn’t speak English and we can’t speak Chinese). They let us store our two bicycles in the house. The room is large and the bathroom is massive. There’s a bit of road noise with the windows open (on the second level). There’s no lift. They owner walked us to a neighbouring restaurant which was very nice. In the morning they both saw us off on our ride.

GGuest UserWe are American expats living in Hong Kong and came to Kunming area for our school’s Easter holiday. We cannot say enough about this beautiful hotel, located in a picturesque village along the northeastern coast of Fuxian Lake. Positives: 1. the location is AMAZING. The village itself feels very Mediterranean and houses over 30 boutique-style hotels. 2. This specific hotel has the most beautiful Chinese garden. My husband and I spent ample time just sitting in the garden chatting and looking at the beautiful flowers. They also have a basket swing our kids played on. 3. The design of the hotel is beautiful…..thatched roofing and wooden doors on the outside, reeded ceilings with wooden beams on the inside…..it all looked so warm and lovely. 4. Our specific room was a 2-level lake view family suite that had a terrace outside the upper level bedroom (which was the “master”). The view from this upper bedroom was so gorgeous….prime view of the lake. 5. The bathroom in our suite was modern and seemed to have some kind of heating fan over the shower area which was an added bonus. 6. The breakfast was traditional Chinese style. By this time, we were at the end of our trip and were a bit tired of rice noodles for breakfast (we are used to western-style breakfasts), but as soon as we tasted this hotel’s rice noodles, it was easy to forget we were tired of them. They were delicious! The owner also served us steamed milk and some kind of sweet steamed bread. It was all very tasty!
Negatives: I truly do not have any. And I usually always have something I critique about hotels. But this place was truly a 5-star stay for us. It was gorgeous and the owner was so sweet.

GGuest UserI absolutely loved it! Seeing a rainbow on my first day at the hotel gave me a feeling I'd be blessed with good luck this year. Parking was also very convenient. I had my favorite rice noodles for breakfast this morning, and I also went to their morning market, where I loved glutinous rice. Haha. They also had really cheap fruit, so I bought a ton to take back to Kunming! It's also very close to Fuxian Lake, just across the intersection. My daughter was so happy. If she doesn't want to eat out, she can ask the owner for extra bowls and chopsticks, and they prepared some wild mushrooms for us! If I come back next time, I'll definitely stay here again. Anyway, if my daughter is happy to have a day off, our whole family is happy!

AAnonymous UserThe room was booked for 302 yuan per night. I've never given a bad review before, this is the first time!
1. First of all, the staff's attitude and service awareness were very good, no problems, and they were very enthusiastic.
2. Reasons for the bad review:
(1) The room had an odor, which I suspect was musty. See the pictures for details; you can see that the walls were damp and moldy everywhere.
(2) Around 10:30 pm, a very muffled sound started to make, especially noticeable when the wardrobe was opened.
(3) The room was poorly clean. The area around the bathtub and the sink in the bathroom was covered in white dust when touched.
(4) In the room we stayed in, there were two beds. The outer bed had stains on the blanket, and the inner bed had stains on the sheet. See the pictures for details.
Especially when I discovered the stains on the sheets and blankets at night, I was about to contact customer service, but my husband said, ”Let's just stay one night and leave tomorrow morning. It's too late to argue.” The room price wasn't expensive, but it wasn't exactly cheap either. It really didn't match the price! Dissatisfied!!

GGuest UserI chose this inn in a particularly urgent situation, but after I arrived, I felt that I had not chosen the wrong one: the courtyard, flowers, green plants, etc. The super emotional environment layout made me happy. After I checked in, the clean and bright room made me satisfied. What I am most fortunate is that the proprietress enthusiastically recommends food, designs the play route in detail according to needs, let us eat, drink and live well for 4 days here! In short, I sincerely thank the proprietress, we will come again! Finally, it’s right to listen to the proprietress! ! !
