We are following all CDC, OHA recommendations and going above and beyond by implementing AHLA American Hotel Lodging Association -Stay Safe. The first change we made is the home has been treated with a preventive treatment (Preventx24/7). This drastically reduces the ability for germs and virus to adhere to surfaces in the first place.We are using EPA certified disinfectant as a primary surface cleaner. Lastly and the biggest change is the entire home will be sanitized upon exit of the cleaning staff, with the use of a professional cold fogger. The home has been recently remolded with upgrades throughout the house including new cabinets, carpet, flooring, bathrooms and a complete redesigned kitchen.The house is nestled in the trees for filtered sunlight views of the 15th green, and fairway frontage. The filtered sunlight keeps the house cool during the hottest summer days. There is abundance of wildlife viewing from multiple deck and outdoor living spaces; of a variety of bird types and family of deer grazing close in the dawn and dusk hours of the day. The house is well appointed and has all the comforts of a home as many of the reviews will attest to. The layout of the house is a open great room which lends itself well to large family gatherings. The beds are comprised of a King Bed in a Ground Floor Master, two queen size beds in their own private bedrooms with chests and dressers. One of the queen bedrooms is very spacious allowing for another sleep pad, or multiple cribs, there is a bunk room with 4 twin beds comfortable enough for grown men!! (This is for all those golfers out there). There is a double bed as well in the bunk room as well. The plus to this is the house can sleep 10-12 without having anyone sleeping in the living area!The kitchen is fully stocked and has most any equipment, spices and staples needed to prepare a gourmet meal. Additionally, your meals may be served in style with place settings and seating for 12 people. In addition, there is a gas grill for quick Barbecues and outside patio furniture for dining. The Washer & Dryer are brand new front loaders are located in a large well lit full sized laundry room with ample hooks for damp pool towels or wet ski clothes! Doing laundry during your stay is breeze and nothing beats unpacking clean clothes on your return home!! The house has multiple decks for relaxing, reading, dining or wildlife watching. A guest favorite feature is the fire pit patio, a place for your party to gather in the evenings with blankets and cozy up around the fire as you reminisce the days adventures. For the sports fans in the group there is a large 70' flat screen LED- SMART TV in the great room; which allows access to Netflix, and Amazon for streaming your favorite movies and shows. The house is within walking distance of the Paulina Pool (Beach Towels are provided). The location is on a cul-de-sac with a longer driveway and a large turn around area; which allows for small children to ride their bikes independently. Welcome to Aspen Meadow Lodge!Our calendar is updated in real-time & our nightly rates are accurately displayed. Enjoy the peace and quiet of this private 8.5 acre property that is less than two miles from downtown Sisters. Our 4 bedroom 3.5 bath 3200 square foot home can accommodate up to 2 families very comfortably. Maximum nightly occupancy is 8-10 people.Located on Whychus Creek, you can walk out from the back deck and down the meandering path to enjoy 1500 feet of private creek frontage. If you like to fish, bring your 3 wt rod as fishing can be outstanding during the summer months (Oregon fishing license is required). In the fall and winter seasons, we stock the house with ample amount of firewood for the main floor fireplace while the downstairs gas fireplace operates via a remote. Snow falls on a regular basis from mid December through Mid February at Aspen Meadow Lodge which makes for a magical wintertime setting.One of our latest additions in 2022 is a private pickleball court located behind the barn and surrounded by aspens and ponderosas. If you play, make sure you bring your gear.There are 3 bedrooms on the main floor: 2 of the bedrooms have queen size beds and a shared full bathroom. The master bedroom has a king bed, a full private bath with dual sinks, and direct outside access to the 4 person hot tub. The 4th bedroom is on the lower level, adjacent to the family room. It also has a queen size bed with a full private bath and direct outside access.The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook all your meals, and a dishwasher to help make clean-up easy. The dining room can seat 8 comfortably but does expand with an extra leaf in the entry way closet for additional dinner guests. The large back deck is perfect for entertaining company with seating for 8 (summer and fall only). Watch the deer wander through the yard, or enjoy the mountain view's from this location.There is a large gas grill that is big enough to BBQ 2 large rack of ribs, 6 burgers and 8 bratwurst all at once (trust us, we did that!) Spare propane is in the garage in the unlikely event you run out of gas.This year round destination offers close proximity to world class fishing on the Deschutes & Metolius Rivers, skiing at nearby Hoodoo Ski Area (25 minutes) & Mt. Bachelor (50 minutes), golf at Aspen Lakes & Black Butte golf courses, and a vast network of hiking and biking trails on Peterson Ridge. Drive up to Three Creeks Lake (25 minute drive) for a spectacular day trip, and hike up to Tam McArthur Rim for a breathtaking view! IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR 2022The newly installed Pickleball court is located behind the barn and surrounded by Aspen & Ponderosa trees, this is a wonderful setting for all those pickleball enthusiasts. This is a private court and is only available for our guests at Aspen Meadow Lodge. Paddles and balls are not provided at this time.Since we are the only vacation rental in the neighborhood, the full time residents are particularly concerned about large gatherings that exceed the maximum allowable guests (8). Many of them walk by the house on a daily basis to get their mail, walk their dog, etc. and notify us if there are large gatherings right away. That said, Aspen Meadow Lodge is not available for weddings, rehearsal dinners, large family reunions or other large gatherings. Any violations of these rules are subject to a 5000.00 fine per HOA rules. This is an attached, 3-room guest suite in our unique, lovely home. While we are nearby, you have complete privacy. Nestled on a rural, beautiful, open 5 acres, our suite offers breathtaking views of the Three Sisters. Tucked away at the end of a dead-end road, surrounded by hundreds of acres of Forest Service and BLM land, it feels like a secluded oasis. Yet, it is just a 15-minute drive to Sisters and 30 minutes to downtown Bend, ensuring you're never too far from civilization. This is a truly special property. Come and immerse yourself in the beauty of the Cascades. The Bend area is a nature lover's paradise, with numerous hiking, walking, biking trails and stunning lakes, all within an hour of our property. It is incredibly peaceful and quiet here, allowing you to relax, watch birds and wildlife, swim in our pond, and simply commune with nature. Our night skies are dark and perfect for stargazing. All water on the property is delicious and pure from community wells. We also have several art installations in the landscape, all made with natural materials, adding to the sense of adventure and discovery. The possibilities for outdoor activities are endless, promising an exciting and fulfilling stay. PARKING. There is dedicated parking to the right of our home and your private entrance around to the left. You have a private patio with two chairs, two lounge chairs on the lawn, a sun umbrella, and a propane firepit, all with a spectacular view of the Three Sisters. Upon request, we can also provide a charcoal grill. KITCHENETTE. The kitchenette has a dining table for two by a large picture window with a view of the mountains. It also has an apartment sized refrigerator/freezer, Ninja XL Pro Air Oven, two electric frying pans (sm & lrg), microwave, Keurig coffee maker, coffee press, electric kettle, toaster, and crockpot. There is a nice long counter for food prep.Right off the hallway, is a shared room with a large sink available for your use in our laundry room. There is also some additional hanging space if needed, and/or suitcase storage. You can have access to our washer/dryer for stays over a week. BATHROOM. The bright, modern bathroom is off the hallway. It has a full-length mirror, marble countertop, shower, and deep soaking tub. We provide towels, washcloths, a hair dryer, bath soap, shampoo, rinse, hand soap, body lotion, and makeup wipes. Extra bath towels, beach towels, hand towels, and washcloths are in the cupboard if needed. BEDROOM. The bedroom is at the end of the hallway at the far end of the house and has a queen bed with a view of the mountains. If you like it dark at night, you can close the blackout curtains. Keep them open for a view of the morning light on the mountains. There is a comfy leather couch with a long ottoman, a small electric fireplace, an open-hanging clothes rack, a mirror, a wood chest of drawers, a satellite TV. Each side of the bed has a small nightstand with a lamp and device charging station. There are plenty of extra blankets and pillows if needed. HEATING AND COOLING. We have radiant in-floor heating and air conditioning throughout the house. This keeps it warm in winter and in the low 70s in summer. We will adjust the temperature upon request. The sun warms the guest suite up nicely,BOOKS. The bedroom and the kitchenette have an eclectic selection of books for your reading pleasure, including guidebooks of the area and other parts of the world. We also have cards, runes, and dominos.
