Qawra Point Holiday Complex

We have been here for one week holiday. The position of the complex is quite convenient (it is located near the most beautiful and populated area in St. Paul's Bay), but our experience was not satisfactory at all. The building is very old, the room cleaning service below the minimum acceptable level (no liquid soap refill, no towels change) and the shower very difficult to use. The balcony was "equipped" with dirty chairs and sunbeds, and the air conditioning device of the room aside leaking water into our area. In case your neighbours are noisy, it's difficult to sleep because there is almost no separation between the balconies. Cooking is impossible with the equipment provided. Swimming pool looks more like a tub than a real one. According to our reservation, breakfast should have been included, but we were asked to pay again at check in to add it. Not suggested even for a short stay.

Honestly dont have a bad thing to say regarding this hotel. The hotel staff were lovely, room cleaned and towels changed every day. Of course it needs a bit of tlc throughout but didnt have any issues with it at all. We were there for a festival so didnt need to spend much time in the room other than to get ready and to sleep. Dont let the other reviews scare you or put you off its definitely not as bad as what its made out to be.

Amazing apartments.wifi free all over the building .clean.quiet . helpful staff especially who work in reception They helped me for tourist places.print papers . always smiling I booked early so I got good price I advise people to stay there

Absolutely disappointed.False advertising the pictures are nothing like the complex. It felt like an hostel for homeless people. The place run down and need a full renovation. Only plus side is that it’s close to the bus station. Wouldn’t go back

Fair and Honest Review, I Wasn't expecting 1 star so my expectations were low. If you are expecting somewhere to lay your head after a busy day exploring than this is not for you!! Photo's are not of the apartments, The pool is something you can buy from Argos, Bar was never Open, No one was ever in the bar. The big white tent on the photos is actually Malta Aquarium. Defo not a part of the complex!! Trading standards need to shut it down and all holiday operators should not even touch it with a barge pole!! We wouldn't go with Lovehoildays any more!!! Right good points Location is brill & views from balcony were amazing Staff were very very welcoming and couldn't do anything more for you. Greeted by a lovely lady and Gentleman on Reception. We was early as the taxi driver dropped us off from the Airport. They told us the room wasnt ready but if we left our luggage in a dining room it would be ready. (we took passports and money out o our bags) and come back in 30 mins. We came back sorted service charges and everything out and was handed our key! (yes one key) 3rd Floor. Opened the door to find a dingey dark room, One single bed, Dining Table, Massive Fridge Freezer, Sink and Kitchen. We noticed there were two hot plates. NO OVEN, NO MICROWAVE, Opened the drawers to see what cutlery and utensils we had. Saucepan and Frying pan, 3 x dirty plates, 3 x dirty bowls. Cutlery opened the drawer to find dirt, mould and dead flies in the drawer. Thinking the really!!! My Wife went into the bath room. Oh dear!!!! Mould everywhere, Soap dispenser fell off the wall at touching it and all contents leeked into the bath, looked at the shower head full of mildew. Flushed the toilet worked fine, but took 10 mins to refill making loads of noise. Again dead flies on the floor and around the sinks and bath. Bedroom thinking this might get better!! OH NO it didnt. 2 x beds cramped into a small room with 2 x steps onto a balcony. Beds were smelly, uncomfortable, No room to walk round the beds, One of the beds you would trip up the step leading to the balcony trip hazard!! Towels were grey i mean dirty grey!! Balcony was nice, Just don't look back at the rusty ait con unit and the paint peeling off. Plus the smell of sewerage. The railings on the Balcony were not safe at all!! We decided we would stay the night at the hotel and see if we could live with i and give it a chance. Got into bed, Within 5 mins you could here the leaky toilet. I started to itch like mad. Not a very good nights sleep but we managed to go sleep for about 4 x hours. Woke up not having the best of experiences. Texted the Rep telling them that the accommodation wasn't fit for Rats! We left after finding another hotel near by with availability. No questions asked by the owners, They had got there money so were not the slightest bit interested at all. Please if you want a dive and i mean a dive all means book, But i would VERY STRONGLY NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOLE TO ANYONE!! Not even hal

Very basic but clean … if you want somewhere to put your head down and in the right area walk to St Paul’s and qawra The staff was pleasant room cleaned every day could of had a sofa in the kitchen area A cheap little hotel perfect no spills place Definitely would you these again
