There are so many positives to staying at St. Lucia Wetlands Guesthouse. They had the best breakfasts we had in our 5-week stay in SA. The garden is beautifully landscaped, and the entire guesthouse is tastefully decorated with interesting and unique items. Colin and Natalie are wonderful hosts and very knowledgeable about the area and gave valuable advice during our stay. They have thought of everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible. For example, the room had plenty of space to store luggage out of the way. The bathroom had plenty of space to put your toiletries. The list goes on and on. The staff is remarkable, Clement even washed and vacuumed our car! The laundry service was also perfect. St. Lucia is a wonderful little town, walkable and safe with plenty to do. We spent six nights there which was good for us.

We felt so welcome! The host was incredible, breakfast was perfect! We have nothing but good things to say. From greeting us everyday, to a coolerbox with snorkling stuff we could borrow for the beach. Games in the lobby with our daughter, very family friendly! It is a lovely place I would highly recommend. Baie Dankie Colin!

After 3 disappointing (and worse) stays at various hotels in South Africa finally struck gold! Colin and his guest house are outstanding. From the booking (made directly with Colin) through to the welcome (early checkin accommodated - very good rather than ghastly welcome wine) through to the room and breakfast. Even the car got a wash. The quality and ambiance of this home away from home really stands out.

This is maybe my new favourite place. Clean, beautiful garden and a clean pool. Super romantic and family friendly. The bed is so comfortable, it works for people with back problems as me. The breakfast is exceptionally good and fresh, the best we had during our 2 weeks trip. The owners are super sweet and very welcoming. I’m definitely going back.

If you are looking for accommodation where attention to detail matters, if you are looking accommodation where everything is neat and tidy then look no further. Nothing is to much for the passionate and enthusiastic hosts. Beds are super comfortable. You definitely won’t be disappointed.

Lovely place, perfect host Colin, took care of all our needs from welcoming to giving tips. He even stayed late to make sure we were back safely after the night safari. Breakfast was great. Overall would love to stay again. Perfect holiday. Thank you Colin.

This is a good stay for a quick over night in St Lucia. Great host and fabulous breakfast! Well situated. Clean!

The place was fantastic. Colin is the magic that keeps this place going. His hospitality is unbelievable. He took time to meet with us all and show us around. Colin was always willing to give advice on how to make the most of a very short stay. The staff seem to take their direction from Colin and they were always helpful and friendly.

Colin is a great host, gives the best tips for visits in the area, and is extremely helpful in order to let you have the best holiday possible. Breakfast on the balcony with view on the beautiful garden was absolutely delicious. Everything was up to perfection. We would more than gladly return to stay here.

Very beautiful house with spacious, tastefully decorated rooms. The breakfast is fresh and complete! Ideal location to discover this charming little town and the magnificent region with its wild animals. The hosts are very friendly and helpful!
