This lodge is a great place to stay in St Lucia - on the edge of town overlooking the estuary. clean, comfortable room with great views of the estuary and the Indian Ocean. Madeleine is super friendly and helpful with anything you need to know about the area.

The room is neat and clean. It does lack privacy, and it is a little cramped. The view is amazing, and the wildlife in the area is one of the lodge's best features. The owner is super friendly and willing to help in any way possible. Please keep your doors and windows closed, otherwise the monkeys will steal your lunch :)

A huge thank you to our Host at Ingwenya Lodge, Madeleine. Other than beautiful and spotless accommodation with a beautiful view- she provided us with priceless information on all the activities Available. Madeleine should double as a guide for St Lucia, her knowledge and love for the area filters through. We took her recommendations and maximised on our trip and will be back soon to finish exploring. Super place in the town of St Lucia a short walk to town and the beach. Our host was fabulous nothing being too much trouble. The apartment was fabulous offering everything needed. Being pet friendly made it perfect. Thank you we will be back.

We viewed several lifers from our deck, with sightings of the Crowned and Trumpeter Hornbill, Yellow/breasted Tinkerbird, Diederik’s Cuckoo and many more. Everything was neat, clean, comfortable and excellent value for money. The Host Madelein , was Superb!

We had an excellent stay at Ingwenya lodge. Our host was very friendly and helpful in recommending things to do around St. Lucia, and the accommodation itself was lovely. We had all the facilities that we needed, and despite the electricity going off for a day during the stay (this was an area-wide problem), we could still use our lights in our room.

Situated in a quit street the lodge is a great place to stay for discovering the wetland. Madeleine was very helpful with recommendations and everything else we needed. Our apartment had an amazing sea view. I would definitely recommend it and stay there again.

Had a wonderful time at Ingwenya Lodge. Host, Madeleine and Staff was friendly and went out of their way to make sure we have a enjoyable stay. Every night we had a braai with the most beautiful view. The accommodation was very neat and had everything we needed.
