On top of the email I’ll be writing for several aspects of should I say assets to management for this hotel, I want to share my recent experience at the Chase Park Plaza. I travel extensively for work, nationally and internationally and I will say this hotel and its staff are no hesitation top 5 in my experiences. You can find other 4 star or 5 star hotels in St. Louis but let me tell you what makes the Chase Park Plaza special, the people. this staff is truly incredible. My first visit was great however this last week at the Chase Park Plaza leaves me just a little sad that I am on to the next. I want to thank the front desk staff, the team there made sure I was taken care of with an executive suite on their top floor which alone is incredible and I implore everyone to experience that kind of stay especially at the Chase Park. The hotel is stunning, historic, and comfortable. With on site parking in a covered garage, 3 AMAZING restaurants. And again I can not stress enough how much I adore the staff of this hotel. From the 2 young ladies who checked me in to Rhonda in restaurants, Madeline at the Preston located in the hotels lobby…. This hotel and staff have left an everlasting impression for me making St. Louis feel like a home away from home.

Attended a wedding in StL with the Chase Park Plaza as the host hotel. Very nice and luxurious, at a reasonable price! We hadn’t stayed there for a while; it’s been nicely redecorated.

This is a historic yet luxurious hotel with all the things one could hope for! First, the staff is so friendly and professional. The lobby is very impressively designed. There are multiple options to dine on site. It has an attached parking garage. It located right next to beautiful Forest Park, where you can find the St. Louis Zoo and Art Museum and lots of trails to walk. The astounding Basilica Cathedral of St. Louis is just a couple blocks away, within walking distance. There is an outdoor pool that looks lovely, although I didn't get to enjoy due to time of year. The room was just beautiful, and I slept like a baby, so peaceful and quiet. A nice surprise was that they upgraded us to a King Suite, so I really felt pampered! I am looking forward to my next visit.

The last time we stayed here was in 1989, another era. The place looks great, we love being in the Central West End and this is still the place to stay, period. Lots of renovations, everything was fine except the pillows. Most hotels offer either foam or down, here only foam. Normally what I prefer except that these are large queen size, not soft but they curl up around your head like down pillows. Made for a difficult sleep for both me and my wife. We called the desk and talked to housekeeping but this was all they had. A quick trip to Dillards in Clayton resolved the problem but I think Royal Sonesta needs to improve this issue.

Stayed for 5 evenings. Overall, everything was excellent. Entire staff was extremely friendly. Two "shoutouts" for: 1) Kaitlyn, at the front desk, who makes one feel like they are indeed welcome at the hotel, and 2) Marisol, in housekeeping, who goes out of her way to keep guests happy.

Old world hotel with a modern twist. The hotel is located on the edge of Forest Park and the Central West End. There are a number of great activities and restaurants within a few minutes walk. The hotel check-in process was quick, efficient and friendly. The staff was quick to answer questions or give advice about the area. I stayed in this hotel a couple of times before writing this review. Each room I stayed in was different. The rooms were always clean and nicely furnished. I enjoyed my stay here. I hope you enjoy yours.
