We had a nice stay but there was no pen or pencil provided in order to fill in the letter from the hotel and we did not have any dental amenities in the room other than that the rooms were amazing with good air conditioning, a minus being no smart tv in the room .

It's next to Gwolhanae Park, so it's a 5-day tour.
It was convenient.
The famous old town is about a 10-minute walk away.
Tourist attractions, Galata Bridge dock, Grand Bazaar, etc.
It was nice to be able to visit almost all the attractions.
To get there from the airport, take the Harvest Airport Bus from the B2 floor and it takes about 1 hour.
Get off at Aksaray Station, move right next to it, take the tram, and get off at the 4th Gwalhane Park stop, which is located just 50m away.
I really like the convenience.
The downside is that the room is a bit small, but everything else, including the price.
I am satisfied.

When we drew up outside the hotel and were shown to our room we were initially disappointed. The area seemed shabby and the room very dark with no direct sunlight in the room. We had been travelling for several hours which I think contributed to this feeling. However this hotel offered us everything we needed for our stay in Malta, The room had plenty of storage space, the bed was really comfortable and the toiletries and tea and coffee were replenished as required. Towels and bedlinen were changed frequently. The pool on the sixth floor was a great facility to cool down after a day out exploring. The breakfast each day provided a great choice and there were never any shortages. Eggs could be cooked to your preference and pancakes were available. All of the staff were friendly and accommodating. Our room and some areas in the hotel appeared a little tired but everything was very clean. The hotel was in a great position to walk to many eateries and to catch the bus, both the local buses and the tour hop on hop off buses. It is an easy walk to Sliema to catch the ferries particularly if you cut up through the houses from the beach at Balluta Bay. I would recommend this hotel if you are looking for a reasonably priced base to see all that Malta has to offer.

Such a shame as we were so looking forward to this holiday. We were told we are in a superior room so we were chuffed as we only booked a standard room. The guy took us across the road to the Quadro hotel which looked smart and modern. We were actually put in a wheelchair accessible room, not really superior but it had a large wet room, plenty of space designed for wheelchair access but very little storage space for clothes etc but not bad. It was going so well until 6:45am on Monday when the builders turned up. The site next door and adjoining the Quadro is under construction so bang,bang,clatter bang all morning. Not ideal and we so wished we had complained straight away but we naively thought it wouldn't be too bad as we didn't plan on being in the room in the daytime and we really didn't want the upheaval of repacking and unpacking again. Also, no idea why as it's not the nicest of streets, but crowds gathered on Friday night outside the hotel, drinking,playing music being loud until around 2am so not much sleep considering the builders turn up again before 7am. Good points: lovely staff, plenty of choice at breakfast, lovely roof top terrace, adequate number of available sunbeds,great location for buses,bars etc. Malta is one big building site, I counted 30 cranes in one direction and 18 in the other. The streets were covered in litter and roads crammed with taxis and buses. They don't have the infrastructure for the amount of traffic and with all the construction going on, it's not likely to get any better. Tip, avoid until construction completed next door to the Quadro or insist on staying in the Argento building, we wish we had as the accumulation of lack of sleep over a few nights really did put a damper on it and we normally wouldn't let it spoil it but it did get the better of us by the last day, couldn't wait to get home for a decent sleep!

Stayed in room 307 and 310. One room had been renovated more than the other but both clean and tidy. Yes some wear on the older rooms furniture but not an issue to us. Aircon really good which was nice seeing as some reviews saying it wasnt adequate for the time of year. Both had little balconies which were lovely to sit on in the evening. Breakfast staff really nice. Lovely, plentiful food. Good positioning of hotel to local restaurants and Spinola Bay, bus stop etc. Room attendants very attentive and rooms cleaned daily and replacement of towels. The renovated room had an iron and ironing board. Both had hair dryers. Both had safes you just had to make up your own 4 digit pin, no extra charge. Nice to see English plug sockets. The fridge in the rooms kept our drinks really cold. Plenty of hot water,, although the flow was a little slow sometimes but to be expected at peak times. The roof pool was lovely to laze around in the afternoon. No complaints at all. Best of all, only 5 Euros tourist tax for a family of four for 4 nights!

We had a brilliant 10 day stay, staff were great, room was lovely, we had strong WiFi in our room but my son wasn't so lucky. Very good location, we only had breakfast at the hotel but the choice and quality was good, would definitely recommend
