My wife and I just got back from an absolutely amazing stay at Hermitage Bay. We had a Sea Garden Suite booked for the entirety of our stay and it was wonderful, steps from the beach, but also felt like it was in a rainforest, with a private pool too which was nice. We did request an upgrade into a Hillside Villa when we checked in which Solange the Guest Services manager helped us with, which we couldn't have been more excited about. So the final 3 nights we stayed in the Hillside Villa (at the very top) and the views were out of this world...even from the bathtub! Everything room wise was top notch and we loved the outdoor shower which we were somewhat skeptical about at first. Mini bar had a great selection and there was a great bluetooth speaker as well which i hadn't seen before in a hotel. Beach and amenity wise we couldn't have asked for more. The drink/umbrella service while on the beach was immediate. Whenever we needed something we just put up a little red flag by our lounge chairs and they came right over. We took a free hour long snorkel trip to a nearby reef which was a great experience without having to spend a huge chunk of time on a snorkel trip, and they had snorkel gear for snorkeling right on the beach as well. We also had good experiences with the morning Yoga session and a couples massage. Food / Drink wise we have zero complaints. It is unlike any other all-inclusive we've been to where food is usually the worst part. Breakfast was great, with a fresh squeezed juice of the day and a great assortment of food options. Lunch was nice as well in their beachfront restaurant which started with 4 little tapas esque tasters that all seemed like they were fresh out of the garden each day and made it felt like you didn't have to eat off the same menu every day. Dinner was amazing as well, all the starters were good (we tried them all), and they had a daily special menu of ~3 items on top of their normal menu to keep things fresh. Also they seemed to keep you with the same waitress for the duration of the stay, which I thought was a great touch and let's you get to know them. Ours was Annis and she was great! Lastly (because I could go on forever just how great it was), the overall feel of the resort just doesn't feel real. Everyone is just so nice, attentive and happy and it shows that their #1 goal is to make you happy and enjoy your stay. For example we broke our suitcase when we switched suites, and when we asked Solange if they had duct tape, wouldn't you know it, they got us a full roll of duct tape the next day. We will definitely be back and couldn't recommend it enough! Brian M
