Check-in was super-easy, the room was astounding! I may have had a Tiny snafu with the coffee maker—probably my fault . Breakfast in the restaurant was top-notch and the rooftop bar was perfect!

A great hotel with decent amenities in the area. The room was quite spacious with a king bed, table and chairs, and enclosed shower. The bed was a bit firm, and the pillows were overstuffed. Because I was on the fourth floor of V2, I had the bar right above me. Nothing like staying awake until 1am because of thumping music and people sliding chairs and tables across the floor. Homeless beggars in the area.

The staff was very friendly and helpful! It was very classy and clean! It had everything we needed and it’s right on the downtown ***** for you to walk to anything you wanted to do! We came down for a college visit and only had to drive 4 min to get to the campus! We will definitely stay there again when our kiddo goes to college!

We were given a wonderful discount for the explorer king suite for our wedding weekend. We came back after our wedding (which was elsewhere in town), and had two champagne glasses, a bottle of champagne, and a heartfelt card waiting for us in our room. It was a gesture above expectation and felt really special. The night before our wedding, we had way more people attend a happy hour than we had planned for. The staff was understanding, accommodating, and welcoming even after we completely overwhelmed them. Jacob Shaw is wonderful to plan with and communicated effectively and timely to plan this event. Hotel Vandivort/Vantage will always take wonderful care of you. It is beyond any other hotel in Springfield always.

I’ve always loved the highest quality that V strives for, but my last two visits have been under the normal level of expectation. My last two stays, oddly, the trash under the sink and fridge still had the prior guests trash and food. This trip, there were no complimentary waters as I was told “they were out of the free water but I could buy water for $5 in their market.” No, thank you. It’s not difficult to purchase cases of water and use those for the free water you advertise on the website just because you are out of your V labeled water. Then my room had one towel hook hanging out of the wall, the luggage rack was beat to hell looking shabby, and the robe was pilling on the inside and would have left little brown fuzzies all over me had I used it. Cleanliness, other than the trash can, was superb. Bed was extremely comfortable. Live music in the lobby, wonderful. It’s the little things that pull together the great experience of Vandi, so I hope attention can be given to these smaller things to raise the bar back up.

What a fabulous hotel worthy of its five stars. And the restaurant is a destination. The menu is innovative, as good as a fine restaurant in nyc. And the food is fabulous. The beds are super comfy and it felt like a very hip place.
