Baymont by Wyndham Springfield I-44

Staff was wonderful. Hotel was clean. Bed was very comfortable, especially their pillows. They allow pets so next time we may even travel with our pup :). They have a pool. It looked fun and clean, but we didn’t swim. For breakfast I had a bagel and cream cheese with coffee. My husband had biscuits n gravy, sausage links, and coffee. It was very tasty. They also offered cereal, toast, muffins, juice, I’m not even sure what else. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Had issues with check in, check out, and with our room. I was made to pay a $250 deposit upon check in because my ID was within a 50 mile radius of hotel. Was not informed of this beforehand. Waited 15 minutes to be helped with check out when we had to be on the road for 12 hours to Minnesota. Had to call front desk 4 times until someone answered and helped us and was not told sorry. Room had a very bad odor and was rundown in spots. Ventilation unit was full of dust and debris. Please go somewhere else

The staff was pleasant and helpful. The beds were very comfortable, with the exception of the tiny pillows. What's up with that as it appears to be a recent Baymont thing. Breakfast was above most hotels and I've stayed in many. No water at check in was a disappointment as well as a cemented hot tub. Although it is not advertised, they apparently can't remove old contributed photos. Overpriced as most hotels in Springfield. I would stay here and recommend this property. Bring your own pillows.

Upon entering the lobby, guests are greeted by a pleasant and inviting ambiance. The staff provided attentive and courteous service. The property offers a pool, a fitness center, and a breakfast area. While the guest rooms are somewhat compact, they are well-maintained, and the beds are comfortable and clean. Overall, the establishment offers good value for the price.

Very clean rooms. Very comfortable bed, clean linens and towels. Carpet clean. Breakfast was satisfactory better than most hotel. Good value for the money. Friendly helpful staff. One issue was asking for room key everytime you walked into Breakfast Area. One suggestion give the guest a paper wristband to wear when entering the Breakfast Area. It is embarassing to be asked everytime you go into the area to get food. I understand the issue but it is annoying and makes a person feel uncomfortable being asked every 5 minutes.
