Chateau Inn and Suites

We recently stayed here in mid-September, and while the weather was somewhat dreary, the hospitality was bright, cheery, and welcoming! The front desk staff - George, Ryan, Amanda, Sage - were all super helpful with local recommendations for places to eat and things to do. The room was immaculate and very well appointed. The location is perfect, just a few blocks walk to the main town for dining and shopping. We'll definitely be back!

I grew up in Spring Lake and know all the inns and hotels. I chose the Chateau Inn because it is updated, clean, quiet and has the ideal location to walk into town, the park or to the beach. We stayed in the King Suite which was perfect for 4 days in September. The inn had great coffee, bikes to rent and the owners and staff are super nice. I highly recommend the Chateau.

We had the pleasure of staying in this cute little place First start off with the staff there was beyond amazing The first person that greeted us was April with her sunny disposition and her eager to please Then we were greeted by Sage and Amanda and Jeff They were one of the best staff that one can have They went over and beyond to help us Now for the place, we arrived a little bit early and we were willing to stay in town, but they said we were able to go into our room a little little bit earlier, and they upgraded us without any cost, which was The room was beautiful, just beautiful clean spacious. We even got a kitchen I highly recommend this place. I’m definitely coming back in December which recommended they have a ladies night in town. Thank you everyone for making our mini vacation outstanding

This is an extremely positive review and we’ve stayed numerous times in all price point rooms and will definitely return. I love the place, however, they have limited amenities. It is not 3.5 stars because of the lack of onsite restaurant, gym, pool or breakfast options. There is no elevator. Amenities include beach chairs, chinzey beach towels, beach bag, beach badge, bike rentals($). There is a lobby with drinks available all day and outdoor tables. Rooms and lobby are very clean and well maintained with a good housekeeping staff. There is a deli next door open for breakfast and lunch. Parking is limited and you may need to park a block away.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Chateau an incredible hotel nestled near a picturesque lake and the pristine beach of Spring Lake. I grew up in Spring Lake and wouldn't miss coming and staying. From the moment I arrived the customer service was exceptional and you are treated as family. Sage the manager is attentive and genuinely caring and making your experience feel like home. The rooms are a testament of luxury and comfort, tastefully designed. Everything is within short walk or a bike ride that they provide you. Enjoy your day at the beach then end with dinner nearby in town. If it isn't a great beach day there are amazing stores to shop in. The hotels location not only offers tranquility but also convenient access to outdoor activities 😀 I will be back for more days to come!! Highly recommend 👌

The Chateau Inn at Spring Lake is a special property with exquisite touches in the reception area, lounge and rooms. The flavored waters, iced tea and coffees were very welcoming and refreshing. The outdoor spaces were very inviting, overlooking the beauty of the park areas around Spring Lake. The staff were very accommodating and warm, including giving great restaurant recommendations and throwing in a bottle of wine for a celebratory dinner. We would definitely stay at this property again. Thank you for a great visit!

My husband and I stayed here and had are best night ever. Started with convenient walk to beach and in to town and ended with cocktails on the outside patio. The Chateau is perfect location ! The room was absolutely beautiful and oh so comfortable! I almost didn’t want to leave that bed. Best night sleep I ever had!

I just had to write a review about our recent stay at the Chateau Inn in Spring Lake, NJ. It's been five years since our last visit when we booked a bunch of rooms for my son's wedding at the nearby Saint Catherine's Church, and let me tell you, the place hasn't lost its charm one bit. First off, I want to give special kudos to April Masco, the manager. She was an absolute gem back then, and she's still got that magic touch. Her warmth and efficiency made planning our stay a breeze. Walking into the Chateau Inn feels like stepping into a cozy retreat. Our room was a haven of comfort with its plush beds and tasteful decor. And can we talk about the coffee and tea service in the lounge? Emma had it all set up beautifully, making every sip feel like a treat. A special shoutout to Sage, who welcomed us with open arms and set the tone for our entire stay. And let's not forget the night staff—Ryan, Jeff, and George—who were always on hand to help with any late-night requests. But you know who doesn't always get the credit they deserve? The housekeeping team. Yesenia made sure our room was impeccably clean and welcoming every single day. It's the little touches like these that really make a difference. And then there's Spring Lake itself. What a picturesque town! From the stunning beach to the quaint shops and restaurants, there's something for everyone here. We especially loved strolling along the boardwalk and taking in the ocean breeze. We've stayed at a few places in the area over the years, but after coming back to the Chateau Inn, we know we've found our go-to spot. It's like coming home. From the moment you walk in the door, the staff is so friendly and accommodating. As a bride, I had a few extra asks and the staff was so happy to help. Our wedding guests who also stayed at the Chateau have raved about the beautiful lobby, the staff, the rooms, and the LOCATION. You cannot beat this gem in the heart of beautiful Spring Lake. We can't wait to come back to the Chateau for many years to come!
