"We needed a quick and convenient hotel for an overnight visit to a medical facility outside the historic section of Spoleto. This hotel was perfect for our purposes. It met our criteria being clean, very reasonably priced and it has on-site parking. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is not charming but it is convenient to the autostrada if you're making a quick visit to Spoleto. They serve a typical Italian breakfast which is included in the price."

Borgo Della Marmotta

"Two nights at Borgo Della Marmotta. Vey appealing rural setting in Poreta, in close proximity to Spoleto and Spello. Great base to explore the southeast corner of Umbria. Helpful and friendly hotel staff. Lovely grounds and pool area. Communal areas and rooms on the property. Restaurant and breakfast area a short distance from accommodation. A couple of issues - the wifi in our room didn’t work ( was unable to be resolved by staff) - and as the mobile coverage was also patchy, one would have to walk around towards reception area to get any data access. The restaurant food was excellent, but apparently only changes the menu once per week - again, normally no big issue, but when we arrived, there were already three items taken off the menu, and the following night, a further two items were removed - with an already relatively limited selection, the options were limited. Lastly, there were numerous mosquitoes in the area, which meant that without window screens, windows needed to be closed - potentially ok if air conditioning functional, but alas, the hotel doesn’t turn the a/c on until summer. Sounds like a bit of a whinge, but we generally enjoyed ourselves and have favourable memories."

"I would recommend this hotel to anyone Visiting Spoleto. The hotel had good light, was clean and well appointed. Excellent location near center a transport. The room was a good size, comfortable and modern. Breakfast was quite good in the hotel."

Albergo Villa Cristina

"Absolutely delightful one night stay. The staff is wonderful and the rooms are so comfortable. The airconditioning was the best I had in my two week stay in Italy (and 100% needed because of course I was there when it was unseasonably sweltering). There was a wonderful couple in the room next to me whose names are even on the door plate. They told me they are there often and would never stay anywhere else. Breakfast was very good. Parking was on site. Location is very close to one of the parking structures that connects to the Spoleto moving walkways."

Hotel Charleston

"Very nice hotel close to everything. Parking lot was a plus. Extensive breakfast. If you stay in the apartment, know that it is accessed separately from the hotel up a cobblestone alley, is in a large, brick, vaulted room and does not have windows. We liked it but it may not be everyone’s cup of tea."

Albornoz Palace Hotel

"Beautiful hotel, very unique... practically an art and lifestyle exhibition. Large rooms, comfortable bathrooms, excellent breakfast and dinner. Friendly staff. Not far from the center, with a green space and pool. The only downside is that the pillows are too hard and high for me. It would be enough to provide one low pillow per room."

"I was staying here for 3 nights with my Overseas Adventure Travel group of 12. We were very pleased with the attention we had from the greetings by the owners, 2 brothers and their parents. Their restaurant was very accommodating and the food was delicious. The hotel is within walking distance of the sights in Spoleto."
