"Check in was good. Helpful receptionist (Abigail I think). Room was pleasant but terrible WiFi. No USB points which is inexcusable today. A/c was very old and ineffective. Restaurant- evening meal was not great despite high expectations looking at the menu. Staff were cold (and at one point unfriendly). Breakfast was very poor. The most basic offering we had on our 3 week road trip in Italy. No excuse for lack of fresh food in a “farm” in Umbria. The “honesty bar” needs a complete re- think. It’s all very basic. We felt that whoever owns it has lost interest and has no passion for it. It could be so lovely but we left underwhelmed and disappointed. Not sure how it’s included in the Mr&Mrs Smith listings. On check out if the staff had asked me how I will stay was I would have told them. They didn’t ask, they clearly don’t care."

"The room booked was above expectations, very large, very clean, beautiful bed with canopy, unexpected presence of a sofa. Very friendly reception staff, they allowed us to leave both the car and our luggage well before check-in and took care of managing the permits for the restricted traffic zone, also giving us directions on how to get around Spoleto. Good breakfast, excellent room cleanliness. The presence of the garage is essential given the area. There are some small flaws: the stairs, both to get to the room and to the breakfast room. Compared to the room, the bathroom is perhaps a little old, perhaps it could be improved by at least putting some hooks on the walls. The double access door to the structure is inconvenient, especially if with luggage or strollers. However, nothing too serious, just small defects, which will not prevent us from returning."

"We recently visited Spoleto and stayed at the Clitunno hotel ,it was not a great experience I am afraid we did not find staff particularly welcoming j the room was small ,tired in spite of some renovations not a dressing table to put toiletries , breakfast was poor emphasis on cakes no hot buffet ,a small choice of cold meat (2) had to plug in the toaster plug on the floor and only one selection of bread indifferent staff very disappointed"

"Beautiful hotel, very unique... practically an art and lifestyle exhibition. Large rooms, comfortable bathrooms, excellent breakfast and dinner. Friendly staff. Not far from the center, with a green space and pool. The only downside is that the pillows are too hard and high for me. It would be enough to provide one low pillow per room."
