Facilities: The pool is perfect for families, a great way for kids to burn off energy. Both breakfast and room service meals were of excellent quality. Upon check-in, we received complimentary desserts, fresh fruit daily in the room, and all the drinks, snacks, and nuts in the mini-fridge were free of charge. The room even had building blocks and a swimming ring for children. Besides the pool, our private courtyard also featured a waterfall and a small hot spring. Cleanliness: Very good. Our two-bedroom villa was cleaned meticulously every day. Facilities: Our villa was conveniently located directly opposite the gym, though the equipment selection was a bit limited. I must really commend the restaurant. While we didn't dine in, we ordered room service for dinner because the dining area in our room was quite spacious, and the food was truly excellent and delicious. Environment: For travel with children, hotels are definitely more comfortable and convenient than B&Bs. We stayed 2 nights at Marriott and 3 nights at Rarin Villa. The Marriott's location is excellent, with a night market right downstairs. Rarin's location is a bit more secluded; the nearest convenience store is over 800 meters away. However, Rarin excels in the privacy of its villas. Since we used Grab for getting around, the slightly remote location didn't feel inconvenient at all. Service: The high ratings are truly well-deserved, I couldn't find any fault. Almost all our requests were met promptly and discreetly. There was never an instance where housekeeping disturbed our children's rest. I will definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Chiang Mai.

The luckiest thing about our trip to Chiang Mai was discovering the Sannom Hotel. The environment and room facilities here are impeccable. It doesn't have the distant feel of a five-star hotel, but rather a perfect balance of comfort and relaxation. From the moment we checked in, we felt the true ease and relaxation of a holiday. All the front desk staff speak Chinese, which was such a rare and reassuring feeling to be able to speak our mother tongue in a foreign country. But even more moving than the facilities were the genuinely warm people at the hotel. Mr. Zhang, the owner, is incredibly enthusiastic and a man with many stories. From local food recommendations to travel tips, he provided invaluable, practical advice that saved us a lot of hassle and made our trip smooth sailing. What truly left an impression on us was when my partner unexpectedly got injured during our trip. In that moment of panic, Mr. Zhang and the hotel staff provided continuous support, helping us liaise with the hospital, patiently translating and communicating, and meticulously handling all the details. In a foreign country, we felt an immense sense of kindness and security that transcended any distance. Thank you, Mr. Zhang and the Sannom Hotel, for providing us with the most stable refuge and warmest care in Chiang Mai. We are grateful to have met such reliable and warm-hearted people.

My stay at Phra Singh Village during this Chiang Mai trip was an incredibly pleasant experience. The hotel is situated right in the heart of the Old City, and its excellent location made it incredibly convenient for us to visit temples or night markets. What impressed me the most was the warm and friendly service from the hotel staff; they truly made us feel at home. The breakfast offered daily was diverse and delicious, and the complimentary afternoon tea added to the relaxed vacation vibe. Moreover, the quality of the in-room dining service was outstanding; if you didn't feel like going out, you could still enjoy high-quality meals in your room, which was a very thoughtful touch. Overall, everything from the environment to the soft services is exceptionally well-maintained, making for a comfortable and reassuring stay. It will definitely be my top choice for a return visit to Chiang Mai.

I really enjoyed my stay at Away Chiang Mai Thapae Resort - A Vegan Retreat. The biggest highlight is its excellent location, very close to Tha Phae Gate and other major attractions. It's super convenient for exploring the Old City and the walking street market. Getting around is easy; Grab rides are affordable. There are also plenty of restaurants and cafes around the hotel. The hotel's atmosphere is quiet, private, and feels very safe. Although the entrance is a bit deep into an alley, it actually contributes to a restful stay, free from outside disturbances. The hotel itself is clean, lush, and has green spaces that make for a relaxing experience throughout your visit. Overall, it's a place in Chiang Mai I'd love to return to. It's perfect for those who want to explore the Old City and also for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in the heart of the city.

A beautiful serendipitous spot to relax. Staff are all friendly and have high service mindset. I asked for Khao Soi which is not on menu and they did it for me. Surprisingly the dish was so delicious, one of good Khao Soi bowls I had. All details in the hotel are so well-curated. A location is good, nearby Wat U-mong which is nice to visit by walking. Not too far to go to center of a city. Lovely experience staying there.

Modern Evolution: Comprising 43 rooms across two residential-style buildings, the hotel has maintained its original Japanese theme over the years. It has expanded its offerings to include modern comforts like a fitness center and a saltwater outdoor swimming pool that overlooks the nearby mountains, positioning itself as a peaceful sanctuary just outside the busy city center. Stay required a refundable deposit of 500 baht cash. Surrounded by quiet ambience in the hilly regions Stayed at the right block facing the Hinoki Cafe. Soaked in the separated onsen facing swimming pool and a gym upstairs having a delicious Japanese style bento set. Toiletries self collect at front desk before going up to room

The grounds and lobby and restaurant were quite beautiful and I enjoyed walking around the resort. The pool was a little disappointing because there were only a few lounge chairs in the sun for bathing. I also found my room to be outdated. There was mold in the shower and the water did not drain. The curtains were very old and my bed had a faint mold smell. The tub outside was very nice to look at but not functionally because there was no hot water. The gym was also very outdated. This hotel has potential to be a really nice place if they made the rooms a little more modern. Also you will be very far from the city and as a solo traveler, this was not ideal.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel and was very satisfied with my overall experience. The room was clean, comfortable and well maintained, and everything I needed was available. The bed was comfortable, and the room was a nice place to relax after a long day. The location was also very convenient, making it easy for me to get around and access nearby transport and other facilities. I particularly appreciated how convenient everything was, which made my stay much easier and more enjoyable. The staff were friendly, helpful and professional. They were always willing to answer my questions and provide assistance whenever I needed it. The check-in process was smooth, and I felt welcomed throughout my stay. Overall, I had a great experience here and would definitely consider staying at this hotel again in the future. I would also be happy to recommend it to friends and other travellers looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay. Thank you to the staff for making my stay so pleasant!

The environment is beautiful, and the front desk has Chinese and Thai translation services, so communication is basically stress-free. It feels like living in a real village in Chiang Mai. I took a big stroll in the morning, and the local elderly folks would actively greet me. The people are incredibly simple and genuine; it feels just like coming home!

Spent 5 nights at Eurana. Rooms were nice, except 1st night aircon leaked all over the floor and I slipped through it before seeing it. Thankfully I didn’t fall. Otherwise very clean, air on worked well. Most of the staff were amazing except for a reception/front desk senior female staff  member who yells at her staff often and raised her voice and yelled at my 78 year old mother for no reason. I had booked 3 nights at first, then afterwards 1 more then another nights. Front desk staff said we could stay there. After our 3 nights They wanted us to checkout… 3 more times. When we told the front desk that we were told we can stay in the room the lady with the glasses said you made 3 bookings, when we said we were told we could stay there.. she raised her voice quite loud and said no, they were probably new staff. Wrong person to yell at as NO ONE treats or speaks to me or my mother that way. My mother has stayed there before and has witnessed this same person yelling at guests. UNEXCEPTABLE!!! She has done this several times in the past and feels very comfortable yelling at guests and staff when there are staff and other guests as witnesses. This shows that management is okay with her doing this… and no she is not a supervisor but a senior staff member. Breakfast was good except nothing is cooked there, eggs are always cold, pretty much a candle under the servicing pans. This method is ancient and not commonly used anymore. Pool was nice, lining needs repair. Pumps should be running all the time to filter the water, except when we swam in The evening they're turned off. The staff were unremarkable and try their best to accommodate guests (minus the senior front desk staff member with glasses.
