Needed a place in Chiang Mai for 4 nights. Didn't care about luxury but didn't want the cheapest place I could find either. Came across this on Agoda and thought it might be worth a try. It's 150 Baht ride from The Chiang Mai Airport. I arrived Check in Was quick and easy. The room is immaculate. Small but very clean. Great bed flat screen TV many many channels. The air condition is fantastic. It's a hostile but it also has. Individual rooms Which is what I booked. It's unbelievable value. 22.50 a night. They don't advertise free breakfast. But they have a common area just behind reception. With a big screen TV and it's got a full kitchen that everybody is welcome to use. If you clean up after yourself, they have all the utensils. They do have a small breakfast in the morning, which is free to everybody who stays here. Although they don't advertise. It waffles cereal coffee tea toast. Basic But very nice. They also have four or five bicycles that are available free of charge to use which is a tremendous perk. There are a couple of negatives but based on the value for money. I can work around them. Number one no room safe number two When you take the key card out when you leave the room the refrigerator also loses electricity. First I've seen this most hotels I've stayed at. Had the refrigerator socket wired to stay hot, even when the key card was out. And it would be nice if they had a chair. In the room nothing fancy just a basic chair. Should I find myself in Chiang Mai again? I will definitely use this hotel again. The staff here are very very friendly. From the reception to the room cleaners everyone always smiling willing to help out answer any questions. Making sure everybody has a nice day. I can't recommend this place enough.

Psych is the best hostel, inside super clean and neat, new facility and organized. The capsule keep you safe and privacy space, super clean pillow and blanket.
Only one draw back is location. Not much gastronomy around, but Maya mall located 250 meter.
It is small but suites one who look for peaceful and quiet place to rest.
The front is not attractive.
I would plant flower and green instead of rocks, it's reflecting more heat in the sunny days.
I give 6 plus. See the images and the true.

Since walking in, this hotel feels open and very cute. But the receptionist is a little slow In any case, the staff speaks well. And very friendly Including both service While we were sitting and waiting There was a maid serving water with fruit as well, so we were a little surprised. Why did he have fruit as well? I said that the hotel has a garden The fruit belongs to the hotel itself. (Secretly tell me a little, the fruit is very delicious) The staff took into the room, felt that this hotel was very clean, answered that the brother opened less than a month. Plus that feels the most special with this hotel This is about the shuttle service. That is no cost at all Because if we go to the airport by ourselves, there is at least 180 baht, the hotel informs that it is a special service of the hotel. To facilitate customers Tell me first, this hotel, compared to other places, the price is different. Not much together, but the service mice of the front brothers, including the driver who drives to pick up and drop off, overall, we are considered very ok. Conprom 1

The accommodation is clean and easy to travel to near the moat. There are soaps and hair dryers. Downstairs is a cafe and upstairs is a hostel. You can book it for a day or stay overnight. Take the train to Chiang Mai and arrive before check-in time. The accommodation allows you to check in early, which is very convenient. As a woman traveling alone, it is not scary.

I have stayed in several hostels and the beds here are the most comfortable and clean.
The mattress is thick and soft and the bedding is clean and tidy
The decoration style is also very good~
Recommended to stay in the girls’ six-bed room
relatively quiet
Rooms along the street can be a bit noisy

It's a great place located on the 2nd-4th floor. At first, the 2nd floor was a bit inconvenient because the bathroom was shared with another room. But other than that, everything was great. The room and bedding were clean, the wifi was fast, and there was a washing machine and dryer. The host was especially kind. I want to come back again next time.

The hotel has good service. There is a cat to welcome you when you return to the room or leave the room🤣 The bathroom and accommodation are much cleaner than expected, more than worth the price. There is drinking water, a locker with keys, shampoo, shower cream, hair dryer and shampoo. Free service for a year, very impressive. (Booked on the wrong day, the hotel will help arrange it for you. Thank you very much 🙏 Very helpful)

The place is really nice. I love all the plans holding around the walls it make you feel in a good relation with nature. Beds are really comfortable with light and electric plug. They clean every day the place is always clean and organize. You are also available to use the electric stove and microwave. Water is free to drink and the breakfast is lovely the best I have in a hostel. Eggs, coffee tea, frut, bread ham, peanut butter, and some days a local dish! They have wash machine to wash your clothes for free just you have to buy the soap. Imp! it doesn't Dry your clothes. (We say a lady making a big show because the FREE wash machine didn't dry her clothes. Jaja) Preee the lady who help them is amazing she is Always smiling and helpful. Also the young guy at the reception. And in my last stay a young guys from the reception give us the info to get to the airport. The boos is really nice as well. He is also making sure your stay is enjoyable. My recommendation for you as a client is to learn a bit or Thai because you are in a and other country who don't have to speak your language and we can't be mad at them if we can not explain our self there. At least is your phone to try to communicate. Smile be kind and Enjoy the place.

The accommodation is very cute, small but not too cramped, good price, near Tha Phae Gate, on the main road, near 7-Eleven and laundry shop, very convenient to walk to Sunday walking street, near food sources near Tha Phae. The room has complete facilities, towels, hair towels, good water pressure, cool air, comfortable bed, very good blanket. The owner is cute and helpful. Don't forget to stop by for coffee or fruit smoothies at the cafe. Good taste and not expensive at all. Highly recommended. Will definitely stay again next time.

LLogan SolamanI recently stayed at October Hostel located in the vibrant Nimman area of Chiang Mai, and I must say, my experience was exceptional!
Location: The hostel's location is perfect for anyone looking to explore Chiang Mai. Nestled in the bustling Nimman neighborhood, it offers easy access to the city center and is just a short drive from the airport, making it incredibly convenient for travelers.
Host and Service: Mark, the hostel owner, was incredibly hospitable. From the moment I arrived, he made me feel welcome and was eager to share his knowledge of the city. His insights and tips on where to go and what to do in Chiang Mai greatly enhanced my experience.
Accommodations: The rooms at October Hostel are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. While I stayed in a standard room this time, I was tempted by the option to upgrade to a much larger room. Given the quality of my stay, I am definitely considering this upgrade on my next visit!
Overall Experience: I highly recommend October Hostel to anyone visiting Chiang Mai. Whether you’re a solo traveler or coming with friends, the combination of a great location, warm hospitality, and excellent facilities make this hostel a top choice.
Tip for Future Guests: Don’t hesitate to ask Mark for local recommendations – he truly knows the best spots in town!
Looking forward to my next stay at October Hostel, and I can’t wait to try out the larger room!

GGuest UserFor me it was the best hostel I've stayed in in Chiang Mai. It was the perfect balance between being in a place where I can rest, have some quiet time when needed but still be very close to the main attractions, social bars and party hostels. I did try other nice hostels, but was quickly drained with all the ”pressure to party” and be part of group activities all the time. Very clean and comfortable, different commun area to chill, socialize, work or read in. They provide coffee and water. The owners and staff are the nicest people, thank you for having me (twice! :) )
SSan L12The booking with Trip.com was easy and straight forward. We booked bunk beds in a private room for 2 person but was told the room wss occupied and not available. We were offered a 12 bunker bed mixed dormitory instead.
The hostel is located outside the old Chiang Mai town, about 15mins walk to Chiang Mai University. It is a nice quiet hostel but because it is getting warm thus it is unavoidable to have mosquitoes. The place is clean with a nice dining space with a microwave, fridge, hot water and washing basin. The hostel provides coffee and tea. They also have white bread jam and butter in the morning for us. The only set back was that there's a moldy smell for our bunker room. We believed that the place had not been used for awhile and the place had been surrounded with trees. There's an laundromat nearby.
RRobTheTravellerFirst I was a bit afraid because Slumber Hostel is a party hostel. And I am not a partyer. I care about my sleep.
I guess I was lucky because I was in a 4-bed dorm with very quiet people who also went to sleep pretty early. And it seemed that there were no parry people at all while I was there, I haven't heard a single sound of music/loud speakers in the night. It was perfect. (But they do warn you when you check in that you have to expect noise since it's a party hostel! So I guess sometimes it gets really noisy).
I really liked the hostel's design, it all looked very new and clean. That's a big plus!
Although they (strangely) don't provide blankets (you can rent one for 75 baht!), they did give me a free towel.
Also there isn't any free filtered water available, so they want you to purchase new bottles. Business.
They have a menu, which is extremely expensive (149 for a pancake for example). But given the cheap room rate (just over a 100 baht) it was really OK and I don't regret staying here. The location is also great! It's close to everything.
Sam at the reception was very friendly. Thank you!

AaruneerarengThis hotel is very clean ✨✨, the service is very good ❤️, the waiter is hospitable and polite , the room is divided into male/female room, and family room , there are utensils, free WIFI, and we have a Thai breakfast in the morning ️. The location of the hotel is very good at No. 5 Nieman Road, Chiang Mai City. Alley, convenient travel, suitable for a group of colleagues or friends to come out to play with live together, the service fee is not expensive, value for money .............!!!!!!!!!!
AarmkomThe accommodation is clean. Parking may be a bit limited. If anyone comes out late at night, you may have to find parking in the alley.
It is an accommodation that we have to check in by ourselves. There is a step to tell us. Personally, I think it is convenient. But if there is an incident at night, you may not be able to find a security guard or officer. I would like the accommodation to consider this.
Overall, the price is reasonable for the accommodation.

33411The room is good, comfortable, suitable for relaxation, and the price is not too expensive. The owner is cute and friendly. The room is on the 4th floor, there is no elevator, but you can walk up easily. The 1st floor is a small bar with a good atmosphere. You can sit and chill. If I have a chance to go to Chiang Mai again, I will use the service.
GGuest UserOverall a very pleasant stay. It's basic but a very good base for visiting all the attractions in and around Chiang Mai. The host is amazing and very helpful. The hostel itself is located perfectly and the walk to the old city takes about 15 mins Would stay here again if travels bring us back to the city.
