Chiang Mai Apartments

Had a great stay at this condo! The room was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed, including a small kitchen and a balcony with a lovely view. The bed was comfortable, and the check-in process was smooth

I stayed here in 2019 multiple times and the facilities were very new. The facilities, furniture, etc. have not been maintained. I checked in again for a four night stay in 2024. I left after about 15 minutes in the room and booked somewhere else. It felt like someone had cleaned it, but overall just gross. Also, this location is listed as having soundproofing on multiple sites. Yet the poolview room was very noisy with traffic if you are sensitive to noise. Maybe it's up to your standards, just not mine. I didn't hassle for my money back, but would not recommend.

The room has one bedroom and one living room, clean and tidy, self-service check-in and check-out, a housekeeper + WeChat will be there in advance, there is a microwave, refrigerator and washing machine, the balcony is very convenient for sitting and drinking tea in the morning and hanging clothes. There is a swimming pool and gym on the 17th floor, and there is a tuk-tuk at the door. There is a 711 supermarket opposite, and it is convenient to get a massage nearby and eat at Zangzangtan in the evening.

The four-person room we stayed in was quite large, with a dining room, living room, bedroom, and toilet. The hotel environment was good, and it was very good for the price. The only thing is that there are some insects in the room, and you have to call a taxi to go to different attractions, but the taxi is not expensive.

The location of the apartment is not far from the city center, and the environment is beautiful. Next to Shangri-La, there is a washing machine in the room. The biggest problem is that there is no check in counter, to call the landlord to pick up the L ocker number to get the room card. You must speak English and listen.

I had a very bad experience during check-in. The self check-in process didn’t work, and I tried to contact the property through Line and phone, but no one replied. I arrived at around 6 PM and waited almost an hour before someone finally responded. During that time, Trip.com staff were very helpful and tried to contact the hotel, but they couldn’t reach them either. When I finally got the room code, the room I received was not what I booked. It had no window and used a shared bathroom. I felt very unsafe, stressed, and disappointed. The hotel told me they would move me to a larger, special room the next day. However, on the next day around noon, the staff messaged me and told me to move immediately. I was in Mae Rim for a business meeting and had to drive back to change rooms. But the new room was not bigger — it was the same room type I originally booked. I felt very disappointed and treated unfairly. I paid for something I didn’t receive. This is the most upsetting experience I’ve ever had with any accommodation. I didn’t feel safe and will never stay here again. The only good points were that the place was clean, the cleaning staff were friendly, and the shared bathroom was also clean. The original room I booked was nice — if only I had received it from the start.

The apartment is the same as the photo, the house is large, the rooms are large Fully equipped, washing machine dryer, laundry About ten minutes walk to maya shopping center About 10 minutes drive from the airport The landlord is very good and needs to be greatly appreciated! After checking out, the landlord immediately contacted me and arranged for grab to send  to the airport for me. The only downside is that there will be ant cockroaches in the bathroom. I will come to Lapin again next time I go to Chiang Mai no.8❤️

The accommodation is in a great location. The downside is that it is tiring to walk up the stairs. The upside is that there is a lot of usable space and the room is spacious.
