For our Zhuhai trip, we headed straight to the Gongbei Port and checked into the Zhuhai Wan Yue Hotel on the first day. I never expected that choosing the right hotel would cut my stress in half! This 'mom-friendly' itinerary was incredibly smooth. 👇
🗺️ Our Lazy First Day Itinerary in Zhuhai
• Arrival & Check-in: The hotel is at No. 28 Shuiwan Road, Gongbei, super close to the border crossing. We hopped out of the car and were checked in within seconds. This time, I specifically chose a family-themed room. The room was very spacious with one 2-meter wide bed and one 1.2-meter wide bed, giving us plenty of room with the little one. Although the side window offered views of the bustling city and a partial sea view, it was wonderfully quiet and not facing the street. The family room also thoughtfully provided kids' toothbrushes, slippers, and toys – full marks for attention to detail! It met all the essential needs for families with children.
• Hotel Fun: In the afternoon, we went straight to the heated pool and indoor kids' play area on the 5th floor. The water quality was clean, and there were staff supervising, so the kids played wildly for two hours.
• Dinner Delight: In the evening, we took the elevator up to the 'Wan Yue Xuan Seafood Restaurant' on the 22nd floor – this is where the real 'king's view' is! The floor-to-ceiling windows offered a direct view of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge. We enjoyed delicious Cantonese cuisine while admiring the bridge's night scenery.
• Seaside Stroll: After sunset, we headed to Binhai Park / Lovers' Road. The sea breeze blew away all our fatigue, and watching the distant bridge tower lights was super chill. The kids even got to build sandcastles.
• Breakfast Power-up: With both Western and Chinese options, plus Cantonese dim sum, we filled up early before heading out.
• Prime Location: Gongbei Port/High-Speed Rail Station are within walking distance, making it convenient to go to Macau, Chimelong, or downtown."

With impeccable attention to detail and attentive butler service, it's the perfect choice for a luxurious and relaxing getaway. The hotel also provides a complimentary travel photography service. I highly recommend the photographer Xiao Wan (University).

Guest UserWe stayed there for four days for a long weekend getaway. The experience was very relaxing. The hotel has mountain bikes, so we went out everyday riding bikes to nearby parks. We also enjoyed the daily wellness classes and the state of art gym. I even tried out some of the medical services that focus on prevention. The hotel must’ve spent a lot of efforts sourcing these machines and services.
The location is far away from the city center. It was exactly what we liked for a remote relaxing get away.
My favorite part is the restaurant. The chef is amazing, and can cook so many different kinds of local Chinese and western cuisines. If this is in HK, it would probably receive a Michelin star rating.

Guest UserThe facilities are great! The room was very clean, and the gym was super convenient with lots of equipment. They also have a kids' play area and a swimming pool. The pool used to open at 6:00, but lately, I've been going later and it's been open until 7:00. The front desk service was excellent; they even went out of their way to let me use the gym for an extra hour when I arrived late. The restaurant is good too, and breakfast was delicious. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time!

Any requests I had during my stay were met with prompt and enthusiastic assistance. They even proactively checked in daily to see if I needed anything, providing meticulous and thoughtful service that made me feel incredibly comfortable.
I also experienced the hotel's exclusive 'Jinghong Travel Photography' service, which was fantastic! The photographer was very patient, guided my poses, and helped me feel at ease. The photos turned out beautifully, capturing wonderful moments of my island getaway and leaving me with precious travel memories.
The hotel's ambiance is amazing, truly perfect for a relaxing vacation. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with every aspect. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit and highly recommend it to everyone!

Guest UserThe hotel is by the sea, close to bus stops, and has shared bikes nearby. You can pretty much get to all the popular spots by bus, so you don't have to walk much, which is quite comfortable. If you want to cycle or take a stroll, you just need to cross the road to reach the beach, which is very convenient. You can even see the sea without booking a dedicated sea-view room; as soon as you step out of the elevator, you'll see a floor-to-ceiling window directly facing the sea and the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge. Additionally, it's a 30-minute bus ride or a 9-minute drive from Gongbei Port, which is very convenient. We also received a complimentary room upgrade!

mom AdaAngsana Phoenix Bay offers excellent service and high standards, with a special shout-out to our butler, Flora! We stayed in a sea view room, which was spacious and airy, with floor-to-ceiling windows bringing the entire South China Sea view indoors. Each room also had its own private balcony. The bathroom featured a double vanity, an oversized round bathtub, and stable shower water pressure. The Angsana brand toiletries had a refreshing scent. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, and the blackout curtains worked perfectly, allowing us to sleep in until we naturally woke up. The room's mini-bar was well-stocked, and it came with high-speed Wi-Fi and silent air conditioning. The decor incorporated Lingnan elements, with simple yet elegant wooden furnishings and exquisite craftsmanship. The 'Laugh & Play Travel Photography' session we booked was fantastic, yielding beautiful photos. Housekeeping was meticulous, and the daily turndown service was thoughtful, tidying the bed and replenishing amenities. Soundproofing was excellent; we barely heard any outside noise. The resort grounds were beautifully maintained, with stunning views at every turn. We could even see the Sun & Moon Bay Opera House and the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge from our room's balcony. The facilities are solid and the attention to detail is impressive, making for a comfortable and peaceful stay. Hardware enthusiasts will definitely love it.

The breakfast has a wide variety of delicious options, especially the rice noodles – absolutely amazing! The all-inclusive dinner package offered food, entertainment, and fun for both kids and adults. The hot spring water was clean, and the lounge had full amenities for food and drinks. There were no hidden costs or tricks throughout our stay. Everything from dining to entertainment was well-equipped. It was a fantastic experience! We saw many locals there, which probably means it has a great reputation and that's why so many people go. They were very friendly to us out-of-towners. Cantonese people are generous and welcoming, awesome! 👍👍

Guest UserMy stay at Ocean Spring Resort Fann Hotel far exceeded my expectations! The room design was very new, with excellent wet/dry separation, and the double vanity sink was incredibly convenient for two people. I chose a room with a private hot spring, and soaking in the hot spring on the balcony while watching the sunset in the evening was truly delightful. The hotel also offers a free 'Little Sailor's Club' for kids, giving parents a much-needed break. The hot springs, petting zoo, and non-powered amusement park within the resort are all perfect for families with children, and there's a shuttle bus from the hotel, so transportation isn't an issue. If the room's ventilation could be a bit better, it would be perfect; it was slightly damp when I first entered, but the air conditioning quickly resolved that. Overall, it was a very comfortable vacation, and I'll definitely come back again!
The hotel opened in 2023, so the facilities are brand new, with a modern and high-quality design. I booked a sea-view room, and soaking in the hot spring while watching the sunset in the evening was a perfect experience. The room's wet/dry separation and double vanity sink show thoughtful attention to detail. For families with kids, I recommend the family duplex room type, which has a slide that kids absolutely love. The free childcare at the 'Little Sailor's Club' is a huge bonus! The resort facilities are comprehensive, with hot springs, a petting zoo, and a non-powered amusement park all accessible by shuttle bus. My only small suggestion would be to optimize the room's ventilation; there was a slight damp smell upon entry, but it dissipated quickly with the air conditioning. The room was spotlessly clean, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a very peaceful sleep. The bathroom had plenty of hot water, and the facilities were well-maintained. The room had great natural light and ventilation, and the soundproofing was excellent, making for a quiet and peaceful environment. The location is superb, making it easy to get around and find places to eat. All the amenities were comprehensive, and you could tell a lot of thought went into the details. Overall, it's great value for money, and the stay was comfortable and pleasant. Highly recommend! I'll definitely choose to stay here again the next time I visit this city, and I'll also recommend it to friends who are traveling.
