I was looking forward to the hotel in Chongzuo, and it was really wonderful. Nami added a text message the day before. When I arrived at the hotel, she introduced the hotel's facilities and activity arrangements. She was warm and friendly. I thanked the hotel staff for taking good care of everything. As soon as I entered the door, Aunt Huang and others performed a Zhuang ritual reception and welcomed ice powder. The banana forest at the entrance was like entering a secret place. The design and decoration of the hotel are at a perfect level. Looking back, it will be a beautiful picture. The unique mountains, rivers and tropical vegetation of Guangxi are all integrated just right. The hotel facilities also pay attention to details. There are reading rooms, infinity pools, and activity rooms. There will be lemongrass water and fruits. There is lemongrass essential oil in the room to prevent mosquitoes, etc. The packaging boxes of toiletries are also various patterns. I like the restaurant very much. The dishes are very local. There are buffets and orders for breakfast. The best snail noodles are here.

HHB ShanghaiThe hotel is very nice and cosy. The staff mostly is awesome and very friendly. Excellent food at the restaurant and every evening there was a small special thing (bread, soup, etc…). Every evening there was an outdoor fire and cooking in a wood fired oven. The owner is very friendly and ready to help. Food and breakfast are excellent. No western food. For breakfast , there is good coffee available. It is possible to get bread and fried eggs on demand if you don’t like Chinese breakfast. Surroundings are great. You can borrow bikes from the hotel to go around through the rice fields and the mountains. Great place to use a drone if you have one. It was too cold for us but there is a swimming pool on the rooftop with an outstanding view. We visited the Detian water falls and the Gulongshan canyon. To sum up, great place for a family trip or for couples

EE. Ch.Amazing stay at Yunlu. Amazing service from the wonderful staff. Extremely quiet location. Beautiful scenery around. Great breakfast (no buffet). Large rooms with great views. Even a small pool (more for children). I cannot say enough good things about the amazing service that the staff provided. Joyous staff. Good feelings. Not much English spoken (well basically none as is usual in China based on my experience) but with the help of the various apps and a positive attitude this is practically not a real issue. It can even be fun. Anyway they fulfilled all my requests and more than that (incl. for the breakfast as I suffer from diabetes) and always made sure I was happy and enjoying my stay. The rooms I had (2 stays) were very large. The air conditioning was very efficient and silent. The views were so enjoyable (yes out there in Mingshi there are better views of course but still). The large bed was very comfortable. Big sofa, tables, chairs ... and a lot of space. Nice bathroom with good shower. A fridge was available and included some ”free” drinks. I found the location perfect as it is not in the village itself but on the other side of the little river. So it is very quiet. A very short drive to the village and even walking requires no more than 30 minutes. Restaurants are only available in the village and bike rentals are way cheaper in the village too. I would certainly not recommend the local shop close to the hotel for rentals as the deals proposed are absurd (well prices the owner articulated were simply exorbitant). I will definitely return to Mingshi as I loved the region and there is so much to discover. I will quite certainly look no further than the Yunlu. Location. Peacefulness. But above all because of the extraordinary customer friendly attitude and the good spirit of the ”team”.

GGuest UserAlthough the price is a bit high, I still feel the super value service experience! Thanks to the butlers who are online 24 hours a day, they will respond to everything and are always online. The butlers are very considerate. Xiao Yu can make cocktails, drive a boat, take photos, and give full emotional value. Special thanks to the handsome and humorous Xiao Zhou, who served us very attentively even when he was on vacation. Thanks again to the butlers for their service, every little detail is really warm!

RrachelmeetsworldI stayed here for 2 nights and it was exactly what I was looking for. My room had a panoramic window view of the mountains outside, and the hotel roof terrace is really nice too! Clean bathroom and western toilet. It was a great location for the Mingshi Scenic Area, and about 45 min drive from the Detian Waterfall area. The hotel helped me arrange a driver to take me to Detian and were very friendly. There are several local restaurants around to eat at, plus a Vietnamese coffee shop just 5 minutes walk away. Only downside is the walls are pretty thin and you can hear other people. But overall, it was clean, a good price, and convenient for my travels in Mingshi.

GGuest UserFinally I met a hotel with warm [sun], which swept away the haze and fatigue of several days. Her air conditioner is so warm! The socks I washed three days ago are now dry this time [face covering]. There were so many people that they asked for more quilts from the store. There were no quilts and the store took out all their own quilts! 👍The surprise when I woke up in the morning was how beautiful the scenery outside was! I took advantage of the warmth and took a shower again. Even though it was past breakfast time, the boss still warmly cooked noodles for us [爱][爱][爱]. By the way, her home has just been renovated, and the solid wood products are all made by her father using his own collection of wood, which is very textured. All in all, it feels good! Very comfortable!

LLubiandeJasmineIt is a very new B&B, only a five-minute drive from the entrance of Detian Waterfall Scenic Area. It is very convenient to stay here. You don’t have to queue up at the tourist center to wait for the bus. Outside the window is the Guichun River, and you can see Vietnamese houses from the window. The proprietress was very enthusiastic to introduce us how to play at Detian Waterfall, and she could also buy tickets for us. We woke up late in the morning, but the kitchen still made rice noodles for us separately. It was hot and delicious.

There is a restaurant next to it for dining. You can drive here by yourself. There is a paid parking lot. Stay for one night and you can go to Detian Waterfall Scenic Area the next morning. The hotel owner can buy tickets for you, but you need to register the night before.

From the beginning of check-in, the handsome guy at the front desk helped us carry our luggage and took us to the room. Knowing that we were going to Yulingba, he personally drove the battery car to take us there, and carefully told us how to play in the scenic area and asked about our stay experience. MMarcelKAmazing hotel! It really is more like a resort with a lot of things to discover. Unfortunately, probably due to the current pandemic situation, not everything has been in operation. You got a little nice bar for the occasional long-nighter 😅 there and a restaurant with a huge menu of different meals. The restaurant service has been unbelievable quick to serve the fresh cooked dishes. The hotel itself has been quite clean and the service staff always been helpful. Do not expect anyone speaking English thou. The whole surrounding is taken care of with visible passion and still you feel like in the middle of the jungle. If you got some time to spare, walk around the little village outside the hotel and try to find the small beautiful almost historic part of it, still being actively lived in by the locals. Just please always be respectful and cautious not to disturb them in any way. FYI: if you arrive there by bus from from Nanning (南宁) to DaXin (大新) (the ride itself is absolutely worth it), there are local drivers Infront of the bus station who know how to get to the hotel. Just make sure not to pay more then 250 RMB. Also make sure all your health codes, passports, visas, etc are all in order and quickly handy. After all it is a border region and the are a lot of checkpoints to pass through. That's no time to mess up anything.
