This vacation trip was very memorable!
First of all, the most solemn thanks and praise go to the housekeeper Nami! Not only is the service attentive and thoughtful, but also the beauty and sincere blessings beyond expectations! I am really grateful to her for providing us with service with her heart! If I come again next time, I hope to see this beautiful lady with a beautiful heart!
Secondly, the scenery of the hotel and the environment of the room are invincible. It is indeed green everywhere and beautiful everywhere. The open-air bathing pool with a shower room that breathes in the green is very impressive! This decoration style should also be used at home! The hard-working aunt cleaned the room very hard, and the room layout was also very attentive. Thank you again for Nami's care and help!
Finally, the hotel's catering is above average. I especially recommend the pork and beef porridge for breakfast, which is very tasty!
I will come again next time! Looking forward to more interesting activities and richer and more delicious food from the hotel!

JJohn AlexanderThis is a lovely property situated in the heart of the Mingshi Scenic Village. The staff are incredibly friendly and happy. The hotels food is simple but delicious and the location couldn’t be better. Rooms are clean and the Mountain View rooms provide a beautiful look out onto the local scenery. Overall this is a great place to stay if you are visiting this region.

EE. Ch.Amazing stay at Yunlu. Amazing service from the wonderful staff. Extremely quiet location. Beautiful scenery around. Great breakfast (no buffet). Large rooms with great views. Even a small pool (more for children).
I cannot say enough good things about the amazing service that the staff provided. Joyous staff. Good feelings. Not much English spoken (well basically none as is usual in China based on my experience) but with the help of the various apps and a positive attitude this is practically not a real issue. It can even be fun. Anyway they fulfilled all my requests and more than that (incl. for the breakfast as I suffer from diabetes) and always made sure I was happy and enjoying my stay.
The rooms I had (2 stays) were very large. The air conditioning was very efficient and silent. The views were so enjoyable (yes out there in Mingshi there are better views of course but still). The large bed was very comfortable. Big sofa, tables, chairs ... and a lot of space. Nice bathroom with good shower. A fridge was available and included some ”free” drinks.
I found the location perfect as it is not in the village itself but on the other side of the little river. So it is very quiet. A very short drive to the village and even walking requires no more than 30 minutes.
Restaurants are only available in the village and bike rentals are way cheaper in the village too. I would certainly not recommend the local shop close to the hotel for rentals as the deals proposed are absurd (well prices the owner articulated were simply exorbitant).
I will definitely return to Mingshi as I loved the region and there is so much to discover. I will quite certainly look no further than the Yunlu. Location. Peacefulness. But above all because of the extraordinary customer friendly attitude and the good spirit of the ”team”.

SSanchezThis hotel was amazing! Every aspect was built with comfort, beauty and relaxation in mind. The setting of the hotel is in the perfect spot right on the river and surrounded by towering mountains.They should add ”resort” to the name. The room was plush and spacious with a great view of both river and mountains. The infinity pool is amazing and built for relaxation. It has comfortable cabana style lounge chairs literally in the pool. The staff is very attentive and met every need. They also provide shuttle service to the river rafting starting point and provide bicycles for riding around the countryside. (The hotel is also the end point of the river rafting trip.) The only downside is that the hotel is difficult to get to. Apparently there are plans to make this town into a tourist destination. Most of the major roads were torn up and the facades of most buildings are under construction. Even with that, being at the resort makes all that irrelevant. If you need a place to wash all your stress away, this is the perfect place. If I had one recommendation, it would be to think about foreign guests in terms of adult beverages. There is a beautiful bar right next to the pool... but one doesn't want tea while at the pool. Everything else about this hotel is perfect.

GGuest UserThe location is near Mingshi Pastoral, 6-story small building, backed by the mountain, it is estimated that everyone wants the tranquility, morning, chicken crow, duck ga, bird song, haha, open the window to the distant mountains, fields, small bridges, pavilions, full of green eyes, a while to attach pictures, free breakfast in the morning, buns, steamed buns, eggs, soup powder, sweet potatoes, I ate a lot of beautiful, steamed buns are brown sugar steamed buns, very delicate, when I and the eldest sister were full of praise, I still wanted to eat one, the eldest sister saw my careful thought, she said give me a road to eat, I am happy to jump feet, haha, the eldest sister gave me two steamed buns, said two people, one family! A cockroach is not worth much, but it makes me particularly warm and satisfied! All the ethnic groups are one family, and the Zhuang sister warms our whole journey! Food, beautiful scenery, riding a small eDonkey, I and my lover shuttled in the beautiful scenery, happy, happy, worthwhile trip! I will miss you, especially delicious soup powder!

LLee Hui TengLove at first sight. The view from our rooms was beautiful. The rooms were tastefully furnished. The beds were very comfortable. Clean sheets and towels. Modern amenities. The automatic toilet bowl was amazing. I wished I had one at home in Malaysia. We enjoyed the breakfasts. I am good with the healthy options and free flow of soy milk. I suggest using the ceramic bowl for the hot soy milk instead of the plastic bowls provided. Do bring your own hot water flask. Hot water dispenser available.We had all our meals in the hotel. The food was delicious. Do try the free range chicken with mushroom soup. Very comforting. Our morning walk in the village was lovely. Plenty of vegetable farms. Mr. Wei, the manager was very attentive and friendly. He offered to ferry us to Detian waterfalls for a fee as there were no taxi or e-hailing. Overall, we had a pleasant and wonderful two day stay. Highly recommended.
PS. Do close the two small windows behind the curtains for better noise insulation.

LLubiandeJasmineIt is a very new B&B, only a five-minute drive from the entrance of Detian Waterfall Scenic Area. It is very convenient to stay here. You don’t have to queue up at the tourist center to wait for the bus. Outside the window is the Guichun River, and you can see Vietnamese houses from the window. The proprietress was very enthusiastic to introduce us how to play at Detian Waterfall, and she could also buy tickets for us. We woke up late in the morning, but the kitchen still made rice noodles for us separately. It was hot and delicious.

AAnonymous UserBecause the trip was booked in a hurry, several online celebrity stores were fully booked. Only this new store still had rooms. It seemed that it was a new store and there was no problem with hygiene, so I booked a room for three days.
When we got far away, we saw the picturesque courtyard with white walls and gray tiles. When we opened the door, we could smell the original scent of wood. The room was very large, with floor-to-ceiling windows and electric curtains. Outside the window, we could see mountains and fields that looked like ink paintings. The room was soundproofed. Very good, the room layout is Zen-like, clean and hygienic. Needless to say, I like the style very much.
Since there were not many places to choose from to eat in the town, we chose to eat in the store. Unexpectedly, it really suited our appetite. The tableware was also exquisite and hygienic, and the rice noodles and siu mai for breakfast were so filling.
The young couple in the store are very enthusiastic, and the waiters and cleaners are also very polite and responsive to all requests. In short, this is a highly recommended store. Not much to say, as the picture above proves.

RrachelmeetsworldI stayed 2 nights at the Mingshi Mountain Village. The amenities were very nice, as well as the service. The location was very convenient for visiting the Detian Waterfall (about 45 minutes away by car) and also for enjoying the Mingshi Scenic area. I rented a bike from the hotel one day (free with your hotel stay) and had a great time exploring the surrounding bike paths - highly recommend! The hotel staff were also great in helping me arrange a car to take me to the Nanning Airport.
I also liked that I could go inside the Scenic Area for free with my room card - it was great for evening walks and for the shows held there at night. I didn’t try the pool (but you need to pay extra for it anyways).
The breakfast is nice - it’s what you’d usually find for a Chinese international hotel. There was coffee & milk as well!
Overall, it was a good stay and I would stay here again.

GGuest UserTransportation: It is recommended to drive here. It is really remote. I have been worried about the security situation. It is okay to drive here. I have not seen any transportation so far. It is very close to Detian Waterfall in a few minutes.
Special experience: The scenic area is probably deserted. There are not many people. The only boundary monument of the China-Vietnam border is visible. There are a pile of strange-shaped stones in the scenic area🪨. The food nearby is also ordinary. Don't have too many fantasies.
Room facilities: The hotel is very old. I booked a single-family house. I was a little scared to live in the main building. The only dining facilities are provided by the hotel. It is not very warm in January. You can wear a down jacket. The sound insulation in the room is terrible. There is no cost-effectiveness. There are not many customers in the hotel as a whole. There are self-organized activities such as hiking, etc.
I came on January 10th. It is not hot to wear a down jacket and it is not cold to wear single clothes. But his air conditioner is not hot. I was freezing to death when I slept at night. .

There is a restaurant next to it for dining. You can drive here by yourself. There is a paid parking lot. Stay for one night and you can go to Detian Waterfall Scenic Area the next morning. The hotel owner can buy tickets for you, but you need to register the night before.
