Hotel Azure

Great for the family. We had small children and they had a great time. We had 3 different types of rooms and all were great.

I spent 5 days at this hotel, and here’s my honest review: What I liked: • The room was spacious and fairly clean. • The bed and pillows were very comfortable. • I appreciated having two sinks, one inside the bathroom and one just outside. • The hairdryer was powerful and much better than the flimsy ones you usually find in hotels. • The room offered multiple lighting options. • The fridge worked really well and kept everything ice cold. What could be improved: • The Wi-Fi was absolutely awful. Trust the reviews when they mention bad Wi-Fi. I saw them and thought, how bad could it be? I was completely mistaken! It couldn’t even load an Instagram story to the end. It was so unreliable that I ended up turning it off and relying on my mobile data instead. If internet access is important for you, do not choose this hotel. • The shower handle was unnecessarily confusing and complicated. A few times it sprayed water all over me when I only wanted to rinse my feet. Just when I thought I figured it out, I accidentally switched it to shower mode again the next day. • The scent of the detergent used on the sheets wasn’t really pleasant. • The walls were thin, which made the room noisy, and I had trouble sleeping because I could hear people talking next door. • The hallways constantly reeked of cigarette smoke, which made coming and going uncomfortable.

We had an amazing time. Can’t wait to come back and explore more things to do on the lake. We had a lake view, which was beautiful.

Place is nice and very close to market.Ample parking space and good to stay with family and friends. Will recommend to stay here if needed.

My room had a window from the hallway just a few feet away that looked directly into my room. Was not able to open the sliding door and curtains to bring in the beautiful night Tahoe air. Absolutely creepy!
