The room as advertised was not the same condition as the actual room. Upon arrival the room , it unexpectedly had mirrors on walls and ceiling which made it look larger. The actual room was quite a bit smaller, dated(signs of wear) and no desk of any kind.

We visited here as part of our holiday touring from San Fran to Las Vegas. This hotel exceeded all my expectations. On arrival, John on the front desk was very welcoming and courteous. He allowed us to check in at 1.30 even though check in isn't officially until 4pm. The room itself was extremely spacious (plenty of room to blow up and store our two paddleboards) and I liked the open plan layout with the jacuzzi tub and two showers integrated as part of the room. There was also a small sink and fridge so we were able to be fairly self catering. The bed was a super king and very comfortable and air con was available for when it became a little too hot in the night. On Friday and Saturday evening, free wine and cheese was provided in the lounge off the main reception. There was also a book case of books and board games to choose from. Guests were also allowed free access to the hotel's bikes and John was very accommodating, providing us with a map and a detailed description of where would be of interest to us. The location itself is excellent- because of the way the resort is built, most hotels like this one are on the other side of a highway to the lake. This hotel is particularly well located as it is just a short walk across this road at the lights from the marina and beach. If you turn right out of the hotel, the main town centre is about 1km away with some great bars and restaurants. I also recommend The Brewery which is a short walk left out of the hotel.

Everything seemed to be ok. I just didn’t like how there weren’t enough towels when we checked in. Also the bed had a huge dent in the middle of the mattress which made for a very uncomfortable nights rest.

Upon checking in the person at the desk, wouldn’t even make eye contact with. Me was extremely rude, and just pointed around the corner and said that my room was literally two steps away. The room was completely filthy. Smelled stains in the shower. Stains on the bathtub, not matching The outdoor ambience of the hotel. And it’s not as if we checked in late completely on acceptable. Customer service and unacceptable maintenance of the room. Not only to mention dead flies and flies in the room. I am a native Southshore and the representation of the room was disgusting and does not represent like Tahoe at all. Do better.
