Stunning views of the sea from our balcony and the restaurant. Excellent service. Wonderfully clean and comfortable. Easy access to the sea via the hotel elevator.

A wonderful family stay! Our room was clean and comfortable, and the view was absolutely incredible. We had a fantastic, sweeping panorama of the Gulf, Naples, and Vesuvius. The staff was excellent and attentive to all our needs. We also consistently enjoyed the breakfast and drinks offered at the hotel. The hotel's location is perfect for sightseeing in Sorrento. We would definitely choose this hotel again!

I stayed here many times between 2008 and 2010, and always found it to be perfect. We returned this year and I was delighted to find so many of the staff from years ago remembered me, and treated me respectfully but almost as an old friend. I think this hotel occupies the very best position in Sorrento; it boasts a kind of colonial grandeur, and is full of charm. By which I mean it’s lovely, and very comfortable, but don’t expect it to have ultramodern conveniences. Having said that, I can’t fault it at all, and won’t leave it 15 years this time. This visit reminded me why I stayed there so often in the past.

My parents were staying at the Tramontano when my mother had a fall in the town and was admitted to hospital. I flew out to join them. The staff could not have been more caring and attentive, everyone asked about my mother and were so kind when she came back to the hotel. The rooms were very comfortable and the food at the restaurant very good. There is a fantastic view from the restaurant. The evening meals are excellent and good value for fine dining.

This was one of the nicest hotels we’ve ever stayed in. Carla? and the other woman at the front desk were so helpful and kind. The breakfast staff, with the spectacular view over the sea, were so fun and attentive. The food was amazing! The hotel is perfectly situated on the edge of Sorrento, and we could walk everywhere! We had a rental car so spent the days exploring the Amalfi Coast, and evenings back home in our palace! If you have a chance, stay here!
