The staff was amazing, they really cared about their guest and attention to every detail. Food is definitely 5 star with a host of option to choose from. Carlos and Fernanda lead you through the day with a host of activities. They are the best and make sure you stay active. Esperanza is wonderful and is always making sure your cup stay full of yummy tropical drinks where there you are around the pool or a beach palapa. Martha is always cooking up something delicious. Fresh tortillas for morning tacos or beef of skewers for lunch. Her food is alway amazing. The night entertainment is managed by Mike, he brings in the greatest acts every night. Everything from Fire shows, acrobatic, singers and rock bands. Last but not least is Idalia, she runs everything and makes sure that everything works like a fine Swiss watch. SHE IS AMAZING. All the staff is amazing.

If I could rate higher than excellent, I would. The word that comes to mind is….Superb! The staff makes you feel special and their attention to detail far surpassed anything my wife and I have ever experienced. I simply cannot find the right words to express how delighted we are!

My husband and I spent our Spring 2025 vacation at this amazing resort. We can’t recommend it enough! The staff is top-notch, and truly exceptional. Everyone went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Shout out to Elysian, Esperanza, Nata, Yesina, Carlos along with Fernanda (love this girl). Huge shout out for ULA – she is AMAZING!!!! This is the perfect place to relax and disconnect from the rest of the world. We had an unforgettable time and can’t wait to return!

Revisited this resort over 50 times, we are club members for the El Dorado resorts. The resort is really showing age and needs a facelift. The rooms need new furniture and better lighting. The water pressure comes and goes as does the hot water. The bed is comfy and the swim up is perfect for us. We enjoy the dining options and appreciate the menu changes daily for dinner to accommodate, reducing the need to go off property for dinner at the other restaurants, although if we want to go off, we can go to any restaurant on the three properties. Alma Alejandra Cen Dzib has made an amazing difference in the service and the food since coming to this resort. Both the day and night servers are excellent, Angel Duran, Noel, Arnulfo, Aniceto, Genesia, Gualdino, and Ricardo Are all 5 star!! And I can’t leave out the top-notch bar service!! Pedro, Nathan and Esperanza you are the best!! The hotel Entertainment staff (Mike) needs to be revisited. The person in charge doesn’t really seem to understand the crowd and has made a lot of changes in the entertainment over the past few years. There are some amazing bands that should be playing in an area for us to dance and enjoy, but they are much too loud to listen to during dinner, e.g. the Cherry Lovers, everyone enjoys them but they are a dance band!! Not a dinner band. We love the gentleman that plays the guitar and that country/pop music. He would be excellent at dinner but he only plays at the poolside during the day. The Tenors are constantly changing singers and are very hit and miss for skill. And finally the best singer on any property on the Riviera Maya is Dana Kennedy and she is now gone! WTH? She can entertain at dinner perfectly or play in the bar and always gets everyone up dancing. She is absolutely AMAZING! Dana was the only successful entertainer for the New Year’s Eve party. The first performers were OK for socializing then Dana came and got everybody up and wild and dancing just as we should’ve been and then she was followed by some bizarre mime-like audiovisual show that was an absolute uninteresting downer while gearing up for midnight. Things have never been as good as when Aldo UG was in charge, and then Fernando followed and did well too. Now, not so much. The Pool entertainment staff is awesome. Thank you Fernanda and Carlos! You do a magnificent job with a wild crowd.

Service was top-notch. Food was good. Cenote tour was wonderful. Only downfall was there was absolutely no hot water pressure. I would go back in the future if that were fixed.

HBR is one of my favorite resorts in the Caribbean. Ua Natural and romantic. The staff is amazing, the grounds are always immaculate the pool and it's swim up pool bar are really nice. A great place to chill and meet people. The entertainment and bars, the restaurants are all top notch and all inclusive. It's really nice to have the two hotels next door that you can put some clothes on and go enjoy the other seven or so restaurants and bars. Oh did I mention the Vegas quality shows at night and live bands. Great late night DJ spinning all night if you want. Ula and Elison in the front office are the best in Mexico! The beach is small but has plenty of loungers and beach beds. The spa Naay rivals any in Scottsdale. Massage on the beach in a papla steps from the ocean is sooooo good. Thank you Gabriella and Karen. Their on site restraunt is really nice indoor or out and Angel and his team are awesome. We love Martha and her fresh made tortillas. There are 3 types of rooms. Swim up are nice easy access slightly smaller than 2nd or 3rd floor suites. They all have great floor plan, nice bathroom and jetted juccizi tubs. You also have a nice mini fridge and bar in your room and you select whats in yours. If your looking for a ANNR Mexican Carribean resort this is the best!!
