Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya All Inclusive - Adults Only

Service and food were excellent. The property was spotless. The only problem we had was they put us in a building with construction noise and we asked to move, which we did. Also, the rooms are very automated, and the air conditioning sensor didn't work properly. Otherwise, everything was excellent. Food was great and had no problems getting a table. They do close one restaurant each night, so make sure you find out which ones are closed during your stay. Also, we loved the piano bar with the specialty drinks, but the piano was extremely out of tune. It sounded like a cheap saloon in a western movie. Sad considering the piano player was very good. Overall we would go back again and probably will.

Our stay was beautiful, I will not deny that. However it was not without a few letdowns. I am a woman who is all about a pool and was so excited to swim in the absolutely gorgeous pool I saw in all the photos online. I visited the week of Jan 1- Jan 7th and the weather was quite warm about 75 degrees every day. HOWEVER, the pool was absolutely FREEZING to the point where I was shivering being in it. Felt like an ICE BATH :( It was not enjoyable and with this being a secluded/ all inclusive hotel there weren't very much other forms of entertainment during the day except for the pool and the beach (the water was warm at the beach). It was so disappointing. I called the front desk to ask if anything could be done but they stated was no pool heater/temperature adjuster. We paid about 4 grand total for this trip and to be completely honest were only able to enjoy the pool once. My next complaint comes to the beach. We went to the beach which gets pretty bus. There was a day where every single chair was full and two of the hotel cabanas were being taken over by random street vendors - taking away two spots for the guests from the 100% packed beach area. These guys were NOT a part of the hotel and are the vendors who go around trying to sell cigars, etc. I watched the staff pass by them multiple times and say nothing while ACTUAL GUESTS had nowhere to lounge by the beach. That was very disappointing as these guys were laughing loudly, staring at guests, and did not move as people walked by looking for chairs. Other than that I will admit that the food was great, the staff was super nice, the hotel grounds were IMPECCABLE, the rooms were nice, everything else was quite lovely. But for the reasons listed I will not be staying at this all inclusive again, although you can still make the most of it and have a lovely experience overall. I'd recommend a stay if you're not going for the main reason of enjoying the pool and the beach.

The staff is very professional, very friendly & helpful. Service was exceptional. The rooms, restaraunts, pools, spa, bars & beach were all great. Exceeded our expectations & we'll definitely be going back in the future.

I just spent my 3rd visit there. Well kept grounds, excellent food options, and good drinks. There are plenty of activities and entertainment throughout the resort. I always book excurcions with the gentleman at the main pool. Puablo, Chief, and Eddy will take excellent care of you. The entire staff is so attentive and friendly. Take time to walk the resort and look for all the beauty and hidden charms. Enjoy!

We had an amazing first trip to VIM, the property was extremely well kept and thoughtfully laid out. It was bigger than we expected, but golf carts are always around to give rides to and from the lobby. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially our building concierge Paola!! who went out of her way to get us reservations and advice. The variety of daily activities was refreshing, and the Go Team leaders were upbeat and enthusiastic. The only downside was the ocean being rough this week, and the red flag prevented us from jet skiing. Overall, we had an amazing first experience and can’t wait to return!

VIM was incredible for the entire week we stayed! Hospitality was 10/10, food and drinks 100/10! The resort was so beautiful and offered loads of variety for food and activities. Churro cart and Cafe Sisal were top tier! We booked our excursion to swim with Sea Turtles and Cenotes right by the Main pool, it was VERY affordable, the staff was incredibly knowledgeable and the trip was absolutely beautiful. We can’t wait to come back!!!
