We loved this place as soon as we arrived with the fabulous views and the lovely smell of wood smoke as soon as you walk inside. We booked a superior room with balcony view which was great as even though it was cold and we weren’t outside much, the glass doors let in lots of light. The room itself was well designed with good storage, a very comfortable bed and cosy décor including some rugs to use outside on the balcony. There was also a couple of plants in the room which was great. Staff were fabulous as well and we really enjoyed the few days we spent here. Highly recommended.

Excelente sítio para descansar com uma paisagem maravilhosa. Pousada bem decorada. Quarto confortável. Funcionários muito atenciosos. Reservamos com meia pensão. Pequeno almoço muito bom. Mas a carta do jantar era muito pouco variada e igual no dia seguinte.

Falta de limpeza nas alcatifas dos quartos, muito pó. As alcatifas, além do pó acumulado, tinham nódoas enormes. Tive uma crise de alergia. Falta de eficiência energética, faltam janelas duplas e aquecimento de bomba de calor. Necessita de obras urgentes. Não recomendo.

Lovely views but a few small points for improvemen
A small quibble, it would be nice to be given a free bottle of water every day when the room is cleaned rather than just on your first night. Small things make a difference.
Also the restaurant cover charge of €4 per head is rather pricey and was imposed even though they didn’t provide gluten free bread as requested so one of us couldn’t even eat any of it.
However the views are stunning and the pool is lovely.
