Soap Lake Natural Spa & Resort

We’ve been coming to Soap Lake Natural Resort and Spa for the past three summers, and while the mineral lake and healing mud are amazing, the resort itself badly needs updates. Rooms in the Inn are outdated — avoid #4 and #6. The window AC units are unbearably loud and made it difficult to sleep. The shower and toilet barely work. No beach towels, no phones in rooms, and this year no complimentary breakfast (which was included before). The two soap bars provided were so thin so they are almost unusable. Jacuzzis were either dirty or broken, internet is unreliable, and even getting a booking confirmation was a struggle with no success, despite multiple calls. A new mirror in the room and TV don’t fix the bigger issues. This place has potential thanks to the lake, but until major renovations are made, comfort and service are far below expectations.

We booked a room at the Soap Lake Natural Spa & Resort, where it is possible to take mineral baths, which is important for me due to my health condition. Unfortunately, at 10 p.m., when I wanted to take a mineral bath, there was no water in it. I was promised that someone would come and fix this issue, but no one ever showed up. On top of that, our room was not cleaned that day, and the towels were not changed. It is very disappointing to pay $165 per night and not receive even the most basic service.

Won’t stay there again While the resort (misleading) felt unclean and the room was pasted together with different tiles, flooring and decor it was very outdated. However the lady at the front desk was very kind and inviting.

Nice spot and facilities. Altho the owners need to be aware of who is in the rooms around them when they decide to do home improvements from 10:30pm until 4:00am..no excuse for the noise, whatsoever. They comped us an hour in the spa, however the fact we got no sleep for 1 of the 2 nights we were there , left a bad taste in our mouths.

The rooms are excellent. But what made me mad is you pay high price to be in a hot tub that is barely lukewarm

Not what it used to be It looks as if it has been through a few ownership changes, and it just isn't what it used to be. It is run down, no ice maker, untrained staff, and just feels dated and a bit grimey. I have been staying there on and off for about 6 years, and I think this was my last time.
