Super close to so many beautiful areas and honestly just a great place to stay. It was quiet and cozy and comfy and all around nice. I loved hearing the live music off our balcony, waking up to the fall colors all around, going on a nature walk close by, and being so close to the mountains. 10/10 recommend

If you're curious about their customer service, spend 5 minutes reading the following. I don't wish this on anyone. I booked a room for a week for a business trip. The day before I was set to arrive my wife and I received information that someone in our family had a few days left to live. There's no choice, right? Family always comes first. So we booked a redeye and flew home. Once I got to the hospice center I called up Newpark Resort and explained the situation. I basically told that since I didn't cancel 48 hours ahead of my stay there's nothing they could do. "It's our policy." I was transferred to the Reservations Manager, Ethan, and he told me that the best he could do was push my stay back a few weeks. It's not like this was a vacation we could push back a few weeks, it's a business trip and need to travel has come/gone. I asked to speak to Ethan's manager and he told me that I would have to contact the corporate office. I contacted the corporate office and they repeated the line that there's nothing they could do. Having previously worked in customer service I know that's not that case. You just need a culture that values the customer. In fact, when I called and explained the situation to Delta Airlines, they immediately offered a flight credit good for a year. Someone could've stepped in and been a hero. Instead I'm left writing a review like this.
