We arrived late in the evening and was greeted by the night reception. There are many ample parking and we entered from the back of the hotel. The hotel is huge and fronting a river. Our room is facing the river and we discovered an amazing view from the balcony of our room. Although the hotel is outdated but it is clean and comfortable. The hotel location is a good 40min drive south of Ottawa Premium outlet and a good stop over for Toronto destination.

The facilities are old and the air conditioner is loud. The location is OK, but parking is good. It is a 10-minute drive from the waterfall. It is okay if you pay attention temporarily.

we stayed one night and the room was terrible, both the door to the hall and the one to the balcony were stuck tight . The balcony had no chairs and was covered in pigeon feces. there was a complete lack of general maintenance. when we arrived there was no staff at the front desk.

The stafff was attentive and responsive to our needs. The facilities are in a poor state of repair and the location is not very pleasant except for the proximity to the river. The view from the rooms is nice, since they all look over the river

Beautiful view of the Rideau from our balcony, but no other positives. Room was clean, but not maintained. Floor lamp not working, lampshades had obvious stains. Cover on outlet behind bed was smashed, leaving the plugs exposed. Continental breakfast was a joke. Pancake machine was only hot option. Very minimal selection. No fresh fruit, only white bread for toast, three tiny chocolate muffins in pastry section. Would not go again.

This property was absolutely terrible. The rooms were dirty, the locks on the were non existent in one room- having an eyelet lock for the door and there toilet wasn't flushed or cleaned. Extremely disappointed and the pictures on line are not an accurate depiction of the rooms.
