My room is at the Delaware Lodge. It looks even worse than a motel. Very old with quite messy and dirty surrounding environment.
The room is clean but the facilities are very old with very dimmed lights. A few light bulbs were not functioning. Curtain could barely cover the window but still you can peep from outside.
Overall a very shocking experience as I didn’t expect this at a “golf resort”.

We knew the main Inn was old, but at breakfast we we given chipped mugs and creamer . Also there was a car accident which took down a telephone pole, so the power went out. luckily it was still light out but the stairs were pitch black and it took them 45/60 minutes to get their generator working. Everyone sat in the lobby waiting to check in. We had dinner at the Gem Tavern. My quisadilla was not cooked. It was one soggy mess and my wine glass was dirty. Even with a power outage at 4:45 , they should have been back to normal by 7. Staff were friendly and activities were pretty much on time and fun.

Traveled with guys I went to High School(Grad ‘73) with…..Awesome time!!!! Rooms were nice. We ate(pizza) at the Brewery and watched the EAGLES game. Golf course is in great shape! Staff was very professional and play was good. Highly recommend this deal to anyone. We are doing it again next time year.

What a great place to relax, enjoy the wonderful views, golf and eat great food! The staff were fabulous and met your every need! When is the last time you stayed at a resort that had a doormen? We loved the history of the resort!!!!! Definitely a place to visit and stay for an enjoyable time!!!!!!!

We traveled to Shawnee to play golf for two days and to experience the tradition of the historic Inn. We were not disappointed! The staff was fantastic and we noticed that none of them had a cellphone in their hand while working! They were present and treated every guest with respect and courtesy! Members of my family played in the annual Fred Waring Four Ball Tournament and finding their names in old programs located in the Inn’s museum was a highlight of our trip! You will not be disappointed with the charm of this Inn and the excellent restaurants and golf courses located on property!

Absolutely love this resort, our third time here. Set on the beautiful Delaware River, with incredible history! Love both the restaurant and the brewery. The coffee shop is great in the morning too! This is our go to when in the Poconos!
