Delta Hotels Heathrow Windsor

Great value for staying reasonably close to Heathrow airport. Our price included parking for the duration of our nearly 3 week holiday. Clean, tidy, comfortable. On-site bar and restaurant good too. Can see why so many airline staff use it.

The front desk very friendly and with a big smile especially Jonabelle at the breakfast so professional and quick to serve us with her great personality and attitude!!I will definitely recommend to all my friends,family and co workers.We are so happy and looking forward to be back. Thank you

The hotel is in Slough, not Windsor, which is about 4 miles away, as is Heathrow. We stayed for one night the day before a Heathrow flight and also used the parking facilities at the hotel whilst we were away. The decor is mostly dated but ok. Reception and the eating areas beside it look like they’ve been refurbished. The hotel has an old hotel smell, a bit musty, with a bit of clinging cigarette smell. We were greeted well at reception and dealt with quickly. We were in Room 315, which was a good size. Patio doors opened onto a nice garden area, but only opened 10cm for safety reasons. The room had a fridge, iron and board, hairdryer, two easy chairs and table, desk and a chair, chest of drawers, safe, tv, usb charging points, kettle and tea/coffee, bottle of water, ice cube bucket, air con, good sized bed, full sized mirror. Bath and shower with good shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. The long term parking at the hotel, as part of a hotel+parking package, may mean a long walk around the hotel back to Reception after you’ve parked your car, as no outside doors open to let you back in. But you keep your car keys, so nobody can move your car whilst you’re away. There’s a small “Grab and Go” shop area - Wundermart - close to reception and I’d avoid it, unless you’ve got deep pockets and really can’t do without what they’re selling. Quite expensive. There’s an ATM and a monitor to book a shuttle or taxi in reception. Dinner was good, but served in a bar environment, in the Brew Bar Lounge, which resembles a Wetherspoons, not the Brasserie restaurant we expected. However, we bought a 3 course dinner deal when we booked with Holiday Extras and it was worth it. Tasty food and good choices. The Market Kitchen for breakfast buffet was very good, offering everything you could possibly want.

Booked two rooms, travelling as a family of four adults and a young child. Rooms were near one another on exec floor, which is as they should be as I have life long titanium status. Rooms were good, no problem, except the usual, thin bedding which seems too short and I spend the night trying to pull it up to feel ‘covered’. We had breakfast in restaurant as no longer served in executive lounge, which can be expensive if you have to buy two buffet breakfasts (two comp as Marriott loyalty) particularly when you only have coffee and danish. This was resolved at desk as a one off concession, disappointing as I had booked both rooms. Lounge was good. Good selection of tasters and fruit. Not sure what cocktail of day was, it was green, and not great. Wine and beer were fine but sparkling wine would be nice too. Disappointed at the decision to replace soft drinks like bottled pepsi with a machine that dispenses pretty rough drinks. Not good. It used to be really nice in this lounge, going back a few years they had two very good members of staff, an older man and a very nice lady. Now the staff are not interacting with guests, just replenishing food etc. I was promised an upgrade next trip after pointing out that not been offered one for eight years (supposed to be best available room for my ‘loyalty’) we will see. A bit galling having to pay for parking, surely this could be a ‘perk’ for loyalty?.

Perfect hotel, good food, nice bar, lovely and friendly staff and ideal if you’re there for business or if you’re flying to and from Heathrow and need a nearby crash course! Hotel is slightly awkward to get to if you don’t drive but cheap Ubers will get you to most nearby destinations

Excellent value. Very friendly staff; courteous and professional. Rooms are comfortable and surprisingly quiet. Very well equipped gym. Executive lounge package is worth it for breakfast and use of the lounge (until 9.30 pm). This gives you drinks including wine and beer, tea, coffee etc (though an ale in addition to Stella Artois would’ve been nice). Also snacks such as nachos, gnocchi and curry. Cost is £30 per couple. Airport transport booked through We Know e-card. Very efficient.

We stayed here on the night before flying out for a family reunion in Los Angeles. We were very impressed with the staff who served us especially Rupinder on reception and Fiona in the bar/cafe area. Great rooms, superb breakfast and nice and close to Terminal 5. Well done !
