July 2025. Couple stayed midweek, excellent experience. Location of hotel is ideal for beach access. Off road car parking and very friendly staff. We stayed in a seaview room with balcony, beautiful views. Will be back.

Good location, room with terrace, ocean view, free Nespresso coffee and water, excellent cleanliness, free parking Excellent staff friendliness I left some prescription glasses in the room, and when I contacted them, they sent them to my home. I repeat, the staff's friendliness is EXCELLENT.

We were unable to maintain a comfortable room temperature. Opening the windows to lower temperature, only to have it rise again to 75 degrees. Too hot to sleep, especially on the overly soft mattress. Overall, every unpleasant stay.

I booked here as I was playing golf early the next morning and didn’t fancy a very early start and long drive before play. The hotel is easy to find and perfectly situated for access to the town and the golf club. The room was spacious, very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was very good. The whole place is tastefully decorated and well maintained. The welcome I received could not have been better. The young lady on reception was very pleasant, helpful and eager to share tips about the hotel and local area. I would very happily return and would have no hesitation in recommending it to others.

We had an excellent stay at Strandhill Lodge. All people at reception were lovely; full of good dining tips and “to do” suggestions. Our spacious room had an ocean view and a view of the golf course. Very centrally located to walk to beach, pubs and restaurants. Easy drive to Sligo; Parke’s Castle; Havenwood walking paths; Careowmore tombs. Breakfast is expansive ala carte/continental. Plenty of good choices - cereals, fruit, yogurt, pastries, cheese, meat, juices. Dandy fancy coffee machine that makes espresso, cappuccino, latte, etc.

This hotel was perfect. Spotless, friendly, comfortable .... there just aren't enough superlatives to describe it. From the moment we arrived, till we checked out, the staff couldn't have done enough for us. The location was perfect - on the fringes of a busy seaside villsge, with mountain views and convenient access to everywhere. No restaurant, but plenty of good places around. Breakfast was continental, and very copious! This is my favourite hotel of all time, and i must make special mention of the two Reception staff, Ciara and Lydia, who could not have been more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you both for making our short holiday even more enjoyable!

We enjoyed 4 nights here in a suite overlooking the Atlantic from our balcony. Luxurious interiors and everything you needed to chill out. Ice machine and buckets a nice touch and even PC in the residents’ lounge. Breakfasts were continental with cereals, toast, cold meats , cheeses and an ample supply of boiled eggs. In the room the tea bags were top quality - how often can you say that these days? The staff were delightful. Slept very well every night. Location handy for the restaurants in the village and shop less than 10 minutes’ walk away to replenish the mini-fridge in the room. This was the most relaxing part of our 16 night trip and we are so glad we found this jewel of a place.

This place was wonderful.Fantastic customer interaction, welcoming and natural .Our room was sparkling clean and comfortable with an excellent balcony view.Although no cooked breakfast, we thoroughly enjoyed the healthy and tasy selection that was on offer.We are looking forward to returning in the summer months.
