Fantastic 2 night stay at Ashfield House. We stayed in the self contained annexe at the rear of the property. This was a living/dining area with stairs that led to one bedroom and en-suite. Beautifully maintained, warm and cosy. Lovely comfortable bed and the accommodation was right in the heart of Grassington, next to the Devonshire Arms pub. Had a lovely sleep as it was in peaceful surroundings. Breakfast was brought to us on a trolley so we could eat in the comfort of the room. This was one of the best guest house/hotel breakfasts i have had, arrived on time and beautifully cooked. All in all, a fantastic stay and would highly recommend.

Absolutely lovely bed and breakfast. The location is just perfect. Right in the heart of Grassington. Our room was lovely. Beautifully decorated. Amazing bath. Warm and cosy. Breakfast was delicious. There is also a lovely quirky little sitting room perfect for relaxing in on a rainy day. Would highly recommend this place

The fantastic reviews and 4-star rating wowed us — perhaps too much. With that caveat, I will confess we found it rather ordinary. Clean, nice breakfast, but it was a rather ordinary small bedroom and an ordinary small bathroom. I also was struck by how absent the managed were. I expected more hospitality, perhaps being in the drawing room once a day to chat and answer questions,. Instead, we called them on the phone when we needed something. There cancellations policy was rather rigid. We were thinking of leaving a day early but were told we’d have to pay for that night. All in all, it was ok but not great.

My husband and I stayed for a weekend in Ashfield House for his birthday in March. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Grassington, a stone’s throw away from the centre and all the pubs, cafes and shops. It has onsite parking too which was great. Ashfield House is cosy and inviting and has everything you need, love the complimentary shortbread biscuits, sherry & Prosecco. The honesty bar in the guest lounge is a great idea although we didn’t use it. The breakfasts are fantastic, lots of choice and large servings. We would stay here again. Thank you.

My husband and I visited for 3 days for my birthday, it was our first time in Grassington and we were not disappointed. The B&B which is in a perfect place in the middle of the village is beautiful, quiet, comfortable and they serve a huge breakfast which was amazing and the ladies serving us were lovely. They have a honesty bar in the downstairs lounge which we didn't use but there was complimentary bottles of prosecco in our room which was a nice touch. I will recommend to everyone who will listen and 100% be booking again.

A great all rounder. Our second vacation and still impressed. You won’t be disappointed if you stay here. Very clean with amazing breakfast.
