Totally unimpressed . The room was misadvertised as having a bath . The photos for the room I booked, clearly displayed a large bathroom. We left the room and did not stay . The hotel have been totally uncooperative in fixing the matter with any kind of refund . Would never stay again. Attached photos clearly show what I booked . The actual room had a tiny shower and toilet . More like a hostel .

Would not stay here again. Wish I’d seen a review like the one I am leaving, before visiting. Suspect there’s been a change of owner / format, and the reviews predominantly speak to the “old” hotel - and not how it currently is. CAR PARK is small. About 8 spaces for around 13 bedrooms. You might not get a spot. It’s also very tight, and you can easily blocked in. Hotel don’t collect vehicle details; so you’ll have no clue who may be preventing you from exiting the car park, or damaging your car whilst squeezing past. BED was too soft and really creaky from the open springs, and generally of poor quality. In fact, all the furniture is off poor domestic quality. Not fit for use in hotels. Pretty poor when they use the two singles to make up a king size (as many hotels do) but they don’t bother to zip them together. TV wasn’t connecting to anything - not even freeview. Had an Amazon fire stick that was blocking anything else from logging in and ‘normal’ TV working. We called to report that on night one and they did nothing over three days; despite saying they would. COLD. With heating only on for a few hours in the afternoon / evening. Horribly cold in the morning when around 4C outside; but no one available to speak to about this. An air heater was provided; suggesting they know this is a problem, and one they do nothing about. The air heater was loud, couldn’t be preset to come on when you wake up, and was generally useless in fixing the problem. LOUD room by the from door. Lots of coming and going from guests. Expect this room was probably a breakfast area when this was a proper hotel; should never be a bedroom. What was also loud was someone outside ringing the ‘smart’ door bell at midnight… why do they have a doorbell so loud when there is no staff here to answer it? Are they expecting guests to let in others who have maybe lost their key? Could also hear someone snoring in another room upstairs. Expect they have hardwood floors, when carpets would deafen this kind of noise. On the last night had to call the police, when a drunk guest who had lost their key, was causing havoc in the corridors and making threats to his partner. Called the “emergency” number provided for check-in, they assured me it was in hand, but it went on for a while longer. Also was told I’d be called the following day. If they want to get in touch to refund some of our stay for a) no hearing; b) no cleaner, and c) no TV - reply to this with instructions how to proceed with this. You don’t reply to the emails I’ve sent about the issues. CLEANER didn’t visit our room for our three night stay. We had to buy some loo paper and shower gel to replace the low stock they’d given us. Generally; the hotel is a bit of a joke of an operation. These unattended hotels only work when they have proper systems and facilities in place. This really felt like nothing had really been thought through properly, and everything is done at the lowest cost possible. The hotel i

Very happy with our room. I’ve attached some photos for others to see. A bargain at £78! We had loads of space. Wi-Fi worked as did both tvs.

I was a bit worried after reading the recent reviews. but I was pleasantly surprised. Stayed in room 5 and it was good, comfy bed and clean, also had a fridge with a small freezer. Location was great and would definitely stay here again

The room comes with a “private” bathroom, which for us was not within our room but rather down the hall. And we had not booked the cheapest rate, so factoring in no food or drinks on site would 100% recommend any of the other accommodations within the town as they cannot be worse for the price

I stayed here for one night as I was passing through from Belfast (Cairnryan ferry) to Hertfordshire. To start with the cons, it was very dated and tired. Marks on the wallpaper, a unit that was tatty and very old (not in an antique good way!). Tiny bathroom, no heated towel rail and I don't think there was a radiator (in the bathroom). A few parking spaces, but none available. However, free parking is all along the road. However, it was all I needed for a one-night stopover to break up my long drive. So, there are pros. It was clean, the bed was comfy and the bathroom clean. The fridge was a Godsend. With a tiny freezer box. That was great. It was fine for what I needed. It was easy to book and easy to get in. However, another couple were struggling with the code they had been given, but I was able to help them. And the village of Grassington is beautiful and friendly with some real gems. Walked across the fields early and watched the sun rise.

Booked a luxury double room, it was tired and dated. Dirty carpet, cold and not luxurious. very poor value for money at £215 for one night. No idea how could be described as a luxury room. Very disappointing. No staff, self service.

This place is definitely for the well to do we booked their only room left which was a suite as it was the only room available in the whole of Grassington for the 40s weekend so had no choice, but we will not be booking them again

Lovely building in a perfect location for walking in the Dales .. the studio is compact but clean & inviting.. banged my knee on the bottom of the bed frame several times as there is very little space at either side of the bed but a comfortable stay none the less
