Nice village pub / old coaching inn with rooms. Very comfortable room with all necessary facilities. Nice evening food and excellent breakfast. Decent range of beers on tap.

Had a great weekend with friends and dogs. Friendly inn with good beer and food. The prices were good and portions ample. Outside of Inn looks a bit tired in places and same with public rooms, but very clean.

It was dirty, cold, food (breakfast) dreadful. I wanted to advice them not to apply to be on four in a bed! The owners didn’t have any people skills, there was no friendliness from them. The internet was useless, to get a signal I had to be sat in the bar by the window!

We ate here on a few occasions whilst staying in the area. There was a great choice on the menu, a specials board and a good selection of beers and wine. We were warmly welcomed by the Owners and Locals alike and always served with a smile. We would highly recommend a visit to the Maypole Inn whether you are local or a visitor. We hope that you will enjoy it as much as we did.

Dropped in to see if we could get something to eat, the kitchen had just closed but they offered us a limited menu . We opted for steak and ale pie. And scampi. Both were nicely cooked and tasty with good accompaniments. Staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely would recommend.

Stayed for a wedding at Falcon Manor. Booked a Quad Room and a Double with Breakfast. It’s an old pud so the floor is slanted as are the bedrooms but this all adds to its character 😊 The hospitality was great and the breakfast was good. The rooms are well equipped with Yorkshire Tea which was perfect 👌 😂 Very clean and the beds were really comfy and cosy. Bathrooms were modern and clean and the windows were well done to ensure no road noise. Would definitely recommend and stay here again. Only negative was the shower pressure was poor and more of a trickle than a shower 😂

Great stay
Lovely hotel in a great location to access the Yorkshire dales. Clean comfortable room. Nice pub with great food and friendly professional staff. We had a really good time.

We had a lovely 1 night stay. Our room was at the back overlooking the car park. Our room had everything we needed. Breakfast the following morning was great too. We found the pub very homely and clean. We had a walk around the village too, and found a beautiful church.
