"The Hotel Monteconero is a splendid property, situated in a wonderful location. It is impeccably clean, the rooms are meticulously maintained, and the atmosphere is truly pleasant. For these reasons, it undoubtedly deserves 5 stars. Unfortunately, my experience was significantly impacted by the behavior of one of the reception staff members. I had requested a sea-view table reservation for a special evening. Upon arrival, I discovered that the reservation had never been made. Consequently, it was impossible to find availability at other restaurants, and the evening was irreparably ruined. However, I would like to point out that the restaurant manager was helpful and tried to remedy the situation, offering me a table inside. I appreciated the effort, but it was clearly a fallback from my initial request, which had been specifically for a sea-view dinner on a special occasion, and so I chose not to make the decision. I would like to emphasize that this review is not intended to undermine the work of the entire staff, nor the quality of the property, which I consider excellent. However, a single incident handled carelessly can ruin a stay and leave a negative impression. I hope this feedback will be taken as a starting point for improvement, so that other guests don't have the same experience."
