The location is excellent & right in the epicentre of this beautiful city. You could walk easily to everywhere. The caring owner, assistant, Barbara in the kitchen & the lovely lady who cleaned our rooms were all delightful. The breakfast delicious. The room large. The place extremely clean. We loved our stay & would highly recommend this place for its comfortable & friendly home away from home.

This is a lovely, small B&B in the heart of Ortigia. Martina, the owner, has created a lovely, classy B&B. Our room was beautiful, spacious, tasteful and a great mixture of modern and historic decor. We were met and welcomed by a great member of staff. She talked us through our stay and gave us a map and advised us of the best places to visit. Breakfast was served around one big table which was a lovely way of connecting the guests. Plenty of choice at breakfast including eggs cooked to order. We were able to arrange parking through Martina which worked well.

We booked a room here based on the pictures and ratings we saw online. It did not disappoint. The bed was the comfiest bed I've ever slept on, the room was spacious, with high ceilings and spotless. The historic building is a few steps away from Piazza Duomo, right in the heart of Ortigia, yet the rooms are completely soundproofed and your rest will be undisturbed. There is so much attention to details and I also loved the decor. The buffet-style breakfast was amazing and we left the table with our bellies and hearts full, as the staff was super courteous and generous. We would highly recommend Maeco to anyone. If you stay here you are close to everything. The B&B is immaculate and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful and even recommended some fantastic restaurants and activities for us. The breakfast in the morning is more than enough. We didn’t have to eat much again until dinner. This spot is close to everything in the heart of Ortigia!!

We enjoyed a lovely stay during our on-night stopover in Ortigia. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, the breakfast was delicious, and the location is perfect for exploring the island. If we ever return to Siracusa we will certainly stay here again!

The Maeco Ortigia B&B was perfect! The room was spacious, immaculately clean, the breakfast was delicious and the owner and staff were welcoming and friendly. It is a perfect place to spend a few nights to explore Ortigia. ENJOY!!!
