When we complained, the only solution she offered was to cancel the second night and refund us for that night—disgraceful. It's frankly inconvenient having to wait half an hour or even half an hour for the water to come out lukewarm and then showering like that in the freezing cold."

"We were a party of three families with a mixture of adults, teens and children. We all loved the space and facilities that Solar do Magoito provided. The kids in particular enjoyed the pools, gym, pool table, table tennis, tennis court and even bikes. The pool house was perfect for family meals and parties. As it was the summer, this became the centre of our daily life too. Manuel couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. He was always available if we needed assistance but was equally unobtrusive when we wanted privacy. The location is perfect for people who like something a little more authentic and private whilst still being within walking distance to a beautiful beach and some local restaurants. As we had decided not to hire cars, we used Uber and Bolt which proved vey easy and efficient. It is also easy to get to Sintra, Cascais and Lisbon ( we found Bolt to be half the price for the latter fare). Manuel is proud of the property and legacy, and rightly so."

"The property was beautiful, as described. The staff were very friendly and helpful, both at check-in and throughout the rest of the stay. The room was as described, comfortable and clean. The bed was perhaps a little soft, but that's because I prefer firmer beds. Breakfast was varied and plentiful, with items replenished as they ran out, and served in a very attractive space. Indoor parking was very important, given the nature of the area and the number of tourists. It's about a 10-minute walk from the center or the train station."

"You must stay at this hotel when you come to Sintra. It was the palace where the king vacationed before, and the president also stayed there. In the morning, the garden outside was filled with a refreshing fragrance. I regretted staying only for one night, but I couldn't cancel the hotel in Lisbon. Oh, by the way, there is a palace next to it. See Figure 4 and Figure 5. ."

"The surrounding environment is beautiful, the local old house is renovated, and the public part is decorated in a family style, which is very warm! Very atmospheric! The service is good. We arrived at 10 pm and the front desk was waiting for us. The old blue house, the front and back yards, and a big tree in the front yard. The location is also good, and most attractions can be walked to. The hotel experience is very good! The only drawback is that there is no elevator, and people with large suitcases will have to work hard."
