Although the property is a bit older, it retains the charm of a traditional luxury hotel with expansive grounds, a sense of grandeur, and a truly upscale atmosphere. The room was clean and spacious, and the quality of amenities such as the bathrobe and slippers was excellent. Plenty of bottled water was provided in the room, and even more could be requested for free if needed. The afternoon tea was absolutely outstanding. It featured delicious local savory items and traditional local desserts, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Although the set is usually for two people, once the staff realized I was alone, they adjusted both the portion and the price accordingly. I also ordered an additional coffee, which was very good. The service was excellent throughout, and the tableware and overall ambiance added to the refined experience.

Room number: 1225 This is corner room so the layout is better but doesn’t come with a tub. It is also at the end of the corridor so have to walk. But it’s also private so won’t hear sounds from outside the room. Pros: - huge room - complimentary fruit platter and chocolate pralines - electronic curtains (day and night) - Bluetooth speakers - coffee machine - individual bottles of toiletries - tv has many international channels - buffet breakfast spread was fantastic in terms of quantity and quality - hotel itself is like a garden oasis in the heart of the city - loads of activities for children to take part Cons - pillows a tad soft - tv could be bigger - shower water pressure could be bigger

The room on 17th floor is cosy with a great window view looking to the greenery. Enjoyed the in-room dining experience and wide spread of buffet breakfast. Signed up as a member for free to enjoy 25% for a buffet meal offered for any of the 8 restaurants in the hotel :)

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in Singapore! The hotel is impressive from its location . The service as well as all the amenities that we get over our stay. The pre-check in email communication is also well done

We were warmly welcomed by early checkin and anniversity complimentary cake. The kid club and pantry is great. Love the pool. The TV and toliet though could be further improved though. If there is complementary shuttle service to MRT, that will be fantastic. It was overall a pleasant journey!

Their service is really awesome. At first the room I was given was infested with ants at the children's tent bed area and the toilet door was faulty. I went to the front desk to request to change a room as I won't be letting my child sleep at the bed. The front desk lady immediately changed a room for us. Breakfast spread was awesome as well. Overall a great experience.

A place to enjoy and relaxing

It’s such a pleasant stay with my family at Shangri-La. The staffs are attentive and helpful. We managed to enjoy early check in and late check out. The indoor and outdoor play area are also great for families with kids. We will definitely come back again.

Booked Garden wing for my birthday and got upgraded to Valley wing. Initially was a bit hesitant because we were not sure if our 3-yo would love it. Turned out she loved it very much! Unique layout and design, large bathroom and bath tub, very good ventilation and AC. Comfy bed and cot. Highly recommend the Valley Deluxe room, especially if you like a European-themed VVIP experience.

The room is good, clean and just nice for 2 of us. But there is no discount for in house guest on food.

Shangri-La Singapore is a fantastic place for families, especially those with young children. The hotel offers excellent amenities, including a swimming pool and both indoor and outdoor playgrounds, ensuring endless fun for the little ones. The breakfast selection is impressive, with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. A perfect stay for a family-friendly getaway!

I enjoyed the whole night i was there. The rooms , the amenities, the 24hr gym. The morning breakfast was amazing and cute too for the kids

Hotel is good, nice hotel for families, the restaurants (Shang Palace & The Line) should be better, food is average. Buds kids club is very good, Splash and the main pool were both good too.
