Stayed at this hotel for the Strade Bianche and would recommend. Great location for the start and perfect for exploring the city off the bike. Hotel is clean and comfortable with great breakfasts. Good secure storage for the bikes. No lift or bar so something to be aware of.

Spent two nights here as part of our Rick Steves tour of Italy. Sienna was our favorite city and this hotel is a solid choice if you’re visiting the area. The rooms are large, clean and the beds comfortable, and the included morning breakfast is good. There’s a nice lobby and outside patio to enjoy. We were in room 4 with small balcony that was nice. My wife spotted what she thought was mold along both sides of the doors leading to the balcony which I reported to the front desk on checkout. Nice bathroom and room has safe, hot water maker and small fridge. In our room the WiFi was really bad so gave up on that but all in all very nice property. And staff were very friendly and helpful. Beautiful hotel in 19th century palazzo. Professional and friendly staff. Good breakfast. Excellent restaurant for diner (L'Orti di San Domenico). Easy walk to il Campo, Duomo and other sights. It's right beside the Basilica of S Domenico.

This property is beautiful. I love Trompe-l'œil the that they have on the walls all over the hotel. Breakfast was delicious. They do have some onside parking. The biggest problem that I had with this venue is there is no elevator. We were staying in a triple room which are all on the top floor and I walk with a cane which meant there was many many stairs to go up. Other than that I would highly recommend for your Siena trip

We received a very warm welcome on arrival and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was good and in a lovely calm setting. The location is great for strolling round Siena and close to the bus station if you want to use Siena as a base. Our room and bathroom were excellent and there were nice quiet areas to rest or read. Really enjoyed this hotel.

Went to Siena on a last minute trip and chose the Hotel Chiusarelli due to its location. It is near the bus station and has a football ground to the rear, we thought it would be fairly quiet with an occasional football match. However, we were surprised at the building work going on at the stadium, this started early in the morning and woke us up. At night we had the noise from the Lunna Park carnival, with the loud speakers rumbling away to midnight. Whilst I don't expect perfect peace in a city it was noisy. Currently there is activity in the football stadium where they are erecting scaffolding for a concert, presumably for this weekend. You may wish to consider if this would suit you. The hotel its self is OK, nothing special, but adequate. The rooms are quite spacious, we had a triple. The beds are firm, perhaps a mattress topper would make them more comfortable, the pillows I found lumpy and not very comfortable. The shower is powerful with endless hot water. Breakfast is totally self-service, again nothing special. They cordon off areas, not sure why, but sometimes you then have to sit at a larger table set for four or more, a bit weird. We did not try the restaurant, as breakfast service put us off. I think this worked to our benefit, as we had some excellent meals out.
