Except that the price is a bit expensive, everything else is satisfactory! Since it is a timeshare vacation club hotel, the suites basically come with a kitchen and all Western cooking utensils, everything you need! There is also a washing machine and dryer. The seaside environment is beautiful, the climate is pleasant, and the scenery is everywhere. The hotel faces its own lagoon (lagoon), which is very comfortable for swimming, sunbathing, and snorkeling (the sea water is a bit cold now, so you need a little courage when you first go into the sea! It will be fine in a while!). The three outdoor swimming pools are suitable for children to the elderly to play and swim, and are equipped with hot water massage pools and saunas (dry steam, wet steam). In short, this hotel is very suitable for couples, couples, second and third generations to travel together! In addition, there is a difference between sea view rooms and mountain view rooms, but they can also be balanced by spending more time outdoors. It is recommended that friends who have been to Waikiki Beach in Honolulu give this place a try, you will definitely have a different feeling!

First time staying here but definitely won’t be the last. So many people we met who were staying at the hotel were regular guests over many years and it wasn’t difficult to see why. A perfect sanctuary in Waikiki - close to everything but a luxury escape when you want a little peace and quiet We had an Ocean Suite which was spacious and very well appointed, but what made our experience was the the staff. Without exception they were first class and so many had worked at the hotel for 20+ years which says a lot. Already dreaming about our next stay and we have only just arrived home.
The Airport Honolulu Hotel, centrally located on Oahu, provides business and leisure travelers with affordable accommodations and ample meeting space. The hotel is just a half-mile from the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport and minutes away from the island's most popular sights including Pearl Harbor, Aloha Stadium, and Waikiki beach. Airport Honolulu Hotel is also a short drive from major military installations including Hickam Air Force Base, Fort Shafter, Pearl Harbor Naval Station and Tripler Army Medical Center.

There is only one reason to book this hotel near the airport, that is, it is very close to the airport and there is a shuttle bus for transfer and rest during long-distance flights. The shuttle bus driver has a good service attitude and helps with luggage, but the hotel decoration is relatively old.

The hotel is very close to the airport, so you can hear the frequent takeoff of planes. The room is average, but the hygiene is very good. Parking fee is $40 per night, and registered members are $20 per night. The hotel includes breakfast, and the variety is OK. It is also average. It is very suitable for transit at the airport. If you stay for a long time, it is better to choose a hotel by the sea. Finally, I would like to thank the sister with color-changing glasses at the front desk. Sorry, I don’t remember her name. The check-in explanation was very clear and the speed was also very fast.

I’m only here for the night, 10 mins from the airport and they have an awesome shuttle driver, Lani. Off the plane and in a shuttle within minutes. It’s old school Hawaii motel, the pool looks great (closed when I got here) and the staff are amazing. Perfect for that sleep you need before the next flight.

It’s the best hotel on Oahu. The blackpink hotel I stayed in a few days ago is really average. The environment of the hotel after Four Seasons is really good. Waikiki is much better. There are several infinity pools, hot springs, and a beach pool. The hotel is flat. The United States is not a hotel. The best hotel feels like a five-star hotel in China.

AAnonymous UserOriginally, I saw the recommendation from Kevin, a teacher from Taiwan, but I don't know if his hotel has changed management or what. We stayed there for seven consecutive days with children and the elderly. First of all, the location is good, but it's not directly next to the sea and you have to walk a little. Secondly, he started to make things difficult for us from the check-in. We arrived after 12 o'clock, and he insisted that the room was not ready unless I paid more than 250 dollars a day to check in immediately. So we chose to wait first, and the babies were not feeling well due to jet lag at 2 o'clock. I asked him if I could check in early with a tip. In fact, it was already past 2 o'clock, and he agreed to let us check in. Then there was the most terrible breakfast problem. I chose breakfast included on Ctrip, but after arriving, I was handed a bill every day for me to sign. I said I didn't understand it and no one explained it to me. I called Ctrip, but I didn't get a good response. Then on the third day, the dark-skinned waitress who was in charge of ushering people into the inyo cafe started to roll her eyes at us, just because the child didn't understand English and went in early. On the fourth day, she rolled her eyes and ignored me when I talked to her, which led me to complain to their front desk. Because I can speak Japanese, I had a complete communication with a Japanese front desk. But the hotel didn't apologize at all. In the following days, we didn't want her to disgust us again, so we didn't go down. As a result, we asked them to bring up two of our included breakfasts. They thought that this was called à la carte room service. It was speechless. Moreover, the food in the breakfast room was quite simple, and there were occasional typhoons, and the food was full of dust. Alas, I hope you will be careful when choosing, or just don't go to their breakfast.

GGuest UserVery pleased with our stay! Excellent location beachfront. Beautiful views of Diamond Head Crater. Super excellent location to be in the middle of all shops, beaches and restaurants . Short walks to explore & enjoy up and down the streets and beaches! All staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Clean and well maintained. Great assistance with booking activities. My daughter took a surf lesson. Beachside conveniently had plenty of water activities to enjoy with an area to rent paddle boards , surf boards, floats, chairs & umbrellas. The restaurants inside the resort were excellent and convenient with outdoor seating and ocean views! ABC general store on lower level to shop for anything needed from drinks, snacks, beach towels, souvenirs, sunscreen etc…The resort also offers free activities that are on a schedule week by week, such as yoga, hula lessons, Lei & bracelet making, vow renewals & ukulele lessons! My 15yo daughter took a ukulele lesson, then shopped around and bought one to bring home!!! We have absolutely no complaints about our stay! Will absolutely be coming back in the future. Our flight home was a late evening flight & our check out time was 11:00am, so the bell hop service held our luggage for us so we could enjoy the rest of our last day on the beach. Then we decided to top off our last day to pamper ourselves with a spa treat, which is located on the top floor of the resort. I got a massage. My daughter got a facial. Afterwards we got to go to the outside roof top and enjoy the awesome view feeling refreshed & relaxed. I can go on and on about the positives of this vacation stay. There were no negative issues!

Excellent
SseanvickyI booked this hotel three times between Ctrip and Qunar, because the price dropped the closer I got. The location of the hotel is indeed good, the room is large, the balcony has a good view, and it is very comfortable to use. Although the hotel is large, the elevator is very fast, and getting in and out is not as troublesome as some reviews said. The only inconvenience was that I checked out of the room that day, stored my luggage and went shopping. When I came back, I found that on the check-in floor on the second floor, all toilets required swiping a room card to enter, OMG. Later, I went to the change room where the third-floor swimming pool is located. There is no need to swipe the room card there.
It’s very close to Marugame Udon, a popular udon restaurant. The “Mai*” matcha ice cream next to it is also good. You can try the purple potato balls in Duke Lane. The local poke bowl is worth a try.

JJUANJapanese hotel, we arrived late and helped me upgrade to the suite. The house is large enough to cook. There is a swimming pool. At night the water is a bit cold. You can soak in the heated swimming pool. When booking, it is stated that there is no resort fee. Late in Hawaii is very cheap. After we check out, we can see that the price has risen to more than 1,000 a night.

JJordan NicholasOur recent stay at Hilton Vacation Club The Modern Honolulu was a blend of highs and lows, with its strengths balanced by a few notable drawbacks. Situated in a reasonably good location and boasting cleanliness throughout, the hotel offered convenience and comfort in many aspects with a great pool and bar area including a separate adults pool. However, certain factors detracted from the overall experience, leaving us with mixed feelings about our time there.
Let's start with the positives. The hotel's location, while not directly in the heart of the city hub, offered a decent compromise between convenience and tranquility. Close proximity to Duke Kahanamoku Lagoon provided easy access to beach activities and waterfront relaxation, adding a touch of serenity to our stay. Additionally, we found the hotel to be impeccably clean, with well-maintained facilities and a commi**ent to hygiene that was commendable.
Despite these strengths, there were some notable downsides to our experience. The most significant inconvenience was the walking distance to the main city hub, which required a 15-20 minute walk to reach popular attractions, dining establishments, and shopping venues. While not a dealbreaker, this added a layer of logistical planning to our daily activities and limited spontaneity.
Another issue that significantly impacted our stay was the persistent noise from the elevator. Unfortunately, our room was located close to the elevator, resulting in constant disturbances throughout the day and night. The loud mechanical noises disrupted our sleep and detracted from the overall ambiance of relaxation that we had hoped for.
In summary, Hilton Vacation Club The Modern Honolulu offered a mix of positives and negatives during our stay. While the hotel's cleanliness and proximity to Duke Kahanamoku Lagoon were definite highlights, the walking distance from the city hub, the disruptive elevator noise, and having to pay for hotel parking detracted from the overall experience.

GGuest UserThis location is the best. 1 block from the beach, within walking distance to anything you want in Waikiki. The lobby is an open, grand lobby. Hotel employees are extremely friendly and helpful. I was very concerned about the hotel when I got off the elevator on the 14th floor. The hallways are dated and uninviting. However, upon entering the room I was pleasantly surprised. The room was clean, plenty spacious for a solo traveler (and would be acceptable for 2 travelers), and had a great view of the ocean. The continental breakfast offered fruit, pastries, boiled eggs, cereal, toast, and waffles. The best part of the stay was Leo at the bell desk. He was extremely friendly, and provided excellent service (he even noticed that I dropped my apple watch cover and held it for me until my return later that day). Be sure to get to know Leo, and don't forget to tip your service providers!

GGuest UserThere is a main building and an annex, but the annex is really bad, and if you stay in the main building, the cost-effectiveness is really good! I stayed for 3 nights and stayed in the annex on the first day and was so depressed that I paid extra money to upgrade my room to the main building, and I was very satisfied! And it's very noisy because it's a downtown area, so take that into consideration! This is a picture of the bathroom when I stayed in the annex, but there was no ventilation and no lighting in the shower cubicle.. It was poor. Compare it with the pictures of the main building!
