Kaikyo View Shimonoseki

I wanted to go to Shimonoseki, so I booked this place for one night. For dinner, we had fugu sashimi and hot pot. My partner seemed to really like the fugu fin sake. I'm not a big fan of fugu, but the porridge was the best. It was far better than the food I had at restaurants or home-cooked meals in the Kanto region. However, I felt sorry for the staff, as they were overwhelmed by the number of guests and it seemed like they couldn't keep up. The open-air bath was great. A repeat guest I spoke to in the large bath told me that last year, the cherry blossoms were in full bloom and security was required at the parking lot, but the weather was bad and there were no cherry blossoms or tulips in bloom. I got a glimpse of how popular this place is.
