"This is the hotel I stayed at when I visited Nakamura, Shimanto City, Kochi Prefecture. It's about a 20-minute walk from Nakamura Station, but it's in the center of Shimanto City, and there are many restaurants nearby, so I had no trouble finding something to eat or do sightseeing. Breakfast was a buffet at the restaurant on the first floor, but it was relatively delicious. There was a large hot spring bath on the fourth floor, and when I soaked in the hot water, it was slippery, like an eel in the Shimanto River. Since there was only one bath, men and women were required to take turns using different times, which was a bit inconvenient."

"We were a little disappointed that the hotel does not command any views of the Shimanto River delta (a really beautiful area.) Still, the hotel was lovely. We stayed in a Japanese style room that was spacious and nicely outfitted. We enjoyed the baths and the dinner was excellent, as was the included breakfast. We only stayed one night, but everything about our time there was very pleasant."
