Shimabara Station Hotel ★★★
"The bathroom is so small it feels like you're in a bucket, and there's no room to put your belongings either. It's the worst."
Hotel Seaside Shimabara ★★★
"Not a bad hotel but there are a lot of day use onsen goers. Dinner was nice but breakfast was a lil disappointing. Free parking available which was great too."
Japanese Inn Kaiboso ★★★
"The lady boss was very friendly and even drove us to Shimabara Castle. Old hot spring hotel, large rooms, high cost performance There is a microwave oven in the basement, and the boss is also willing to provide chopsticks and tableware, which is very much appreciated."
Hotel and Spa Hanamizuki ★★
"There are no staff members permanently stationed at the front desk. I found it strange that check-in had to be done at a different hotel."
Shimabara Hakusan Hotel ★★★
"The staff seemed friendly"
Business Hotel Chidori ★★
"Great location and nearby amenities. Near to train station and near to town."
Shimabara Toyo Parkside Hotel ★★★
"From the 10th floor, you can see the sunrise over the Ariake Sea, and the mountain ridges on the opposite shore are clearly visible, making it a beautiful location. The proximity to the sea makes it an excellent choice."
Hotel Nampuro ★★★★
"We stayed with a family and two small children. The kids seemed to enjoy the treasure hunt, shooting gallery, game center, and pool! It was fun to have all kinds of ideas packed into one hotel, but there were quite a few parts that made me think, how should I put it? For dinner, the kids had to make their own curry and ramen in addition to the cold kids' lunch. There were a lot of things that kids like, but there was no way they could eat that much. If that's the case, I would have been happier if they had just given us a plate of hot and delicious hamburger instead of the kids' lunch. The pool was fun with lots of swim rings, but the size of the swim rings was clearly not commensurate with the size of the pool (narrow), making it difficult to play. There were lots of novels that made me want to read them, but the customer base was mostly families with children, so I wondered if there were any adults reading them elegantly. I thought it would be better if they made each one a little more comfortable, without having to put in too much."
Kaiboso ★★
