Days Inn by Wyndham Sherman

I would have left but I was exhausted. From the moment you open the door to the hotel your overcome with the most horrible old smoke smell, its so bad in the lobby and hallway it made my noise and sinuses hurts and my eyes itch. Girl who checked me in was nice but didn't bother to tell me anything including where my room was located. Also as a Platinum member I would expect to be asked what floor I would like, that didnt happen. I also would think the hotel would have upgraded me being the hotel was mostly empty. So on to my room. Opened the door and noticed the floor seemed dirty and the closest door was crooked and off track or broken. I went into the bathroom and the ceiling is falling in. After looking around the bed I noticed there was trash behind the nightstands and food on the floor. Tobacco spit on the wall behind the bed. Room smelled bad and every time the heater turned on it got worse. I went downstairs for breakfast at 9:05am to find the manager training someone and the breakfast being shut down. I asked and was told it ended at 9. I wasnt told that when I checked in. I told her she needed to make sure her staff tells guests that when they arrive. All I received was a meaningless "sorry". How hard would it have been for you or one of the other 2 employees to have turned the juice back on for one second so I could get a glasd of OJ YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS ARE TERRIBLE and SO IS YOUR HOTEL. I will not be back and I am also sending this review to corporate. DO NOT STAY HERE and im getting itchy also. Who knows why but im sure its from this hotel.

If I could give it a negative 5 stars I would. Got to the hotel, the front doors are busted and boarded up so you have to go in a side door where everything is in the middle of the lobby trashed and covered with dust. Front desk clerk didn’t really speak English and it took us about 20 minutes to check in with the language barrier. Finally get to the room, where do I start. It says “non-smoking room” I’m pretty sure smoke came pouring out of the room the minute we opened the door. There was trash all over the place, furniture was all busted up, carpet and bedding was ripped (see pictures). Locks were broken. We didn’t even stay 15 minutes before we got out of there, our health and safety was at serious risk. The pictures made it look really nice but it couldn’t be more false advertising. I usually stay at Wyndham hotels because I feel safe and clean but this one… I would definitely stay far far far away from this one.

This is by far the worse hotel ever , they customer service is horrible. My heat isn’t working and the room temperature been 68 for over 24hr the guy on nights even came and looked and said it supposed to be putting out more heat then it is and asked if I wanted to be moved I said If maintenance can fix it in the morning I’ll just stay in this room he said are you sure you gone make it thru the night I said yeah so the next morning I called and the lady came and said the heat is fine and that it supposed to be blowing out warm air on 90 no it’s supposed to be hot on 90 so they wouldn’t move me and offered to give a refund when I asked to be moved to another room . They claim they don’t have any available when the guy told me they have plenty . The ladies here have bad attitudes and are the worse housekeeper. The manager was supposed to called me and still haven’t and I been waiting for hours . This is literally the worse I’ve had problems since I been here and they don’t like to help . I even was looking for mail to be Delivered and asked have some mail came they lady at the front told me she don’t know and to go check the mail box as if that was my job . Like I need to speak with someone over the manger .

I cannot believe this establishment is still open!?! Definitely not as advertised online. First I had to wait in the lobby which by the way is not air conditioned for over an hour with my two children (101° outside) for them to get the room I paid for clean... that is what they said atleast but the room most definitely was not clean by any standards. When you first walk up the stairs outside your greeted by a pile of rotting food and trash that has been placed inside the door to keep the door open. When walking down the halls there is this lingering, very potent smell of dead animal. The rooms are so bad you will not be taking your shoes off at any point. Other than the bed being made you would not think the room has been touched. I brought the kids here with intentions of swimming in the nice clear blue pool that is advertised online..... Those photos had to be 10 years old because the entire pool area looks like a jungle with the weeds and grass literally grown up over 4ft tall. The pool is a disgusting dark green color and completely trashed. I would not recommend this place to anyone, they really need to update their online advertising. The fact that i have to give this place at least one star to leave a review is really bothering me because it does not even deserve that.

Filthy! Here are a few photos of the lobby and eating area. And a few from my room. The baseboards filthy. The floor in the breakfast area was filthy. It looks like it hasn't been cleaned in years. I can understand a place being used or older. But I cannot excuse filth. There is no reason for the condition of this hotel other than laziness. I hope this helps.

Mold in room, heater didn’t work, internet was in and out every five minutes, rooms weren’t cleaned properly and cleaning crew kept coming in my room while I was sleeping even when I asked them not to! When I spoke to staff, they showed no care or emotion about the issues and laughed.
