We were traveling from NE OK to Throckmorton, Texas. We stopped that night in Sherman, Texas at the Motel 6. The room was filthy. Dried toothpaste in bathroom sink, hair all over the sink, toilet, & shower stall. It was so disgusting, I refused to shower the following morning. The floors had debris everywhere & there was trash & I'm not sure what else under the beds. The curtains wouldn't close all the way, the door wouldn't latch unless locked & you could still see light coming in all around the door frame after locked. We only needed the room for a few hours to sleep so we didn't ask to change rooms. Also, I'm not confident the other rooms were any better.

I really enjoyed my stay, The front office staff is so nice and helpful. The cleaning lady’s are very helpful also But I really enjoyed the front office staff I have stayed at other hotels and they are rude. I will always come to back to motel 6 and I will tell family and friends.

Unhappy
First room wasn't cleaned and room was ok seen ants we left at midnight. Been to mamy motels 6 this one rates bottom

At the time that we stayed there, construction was under way in the office area. The attendants were very friendly. The beds were clean but there was a gap under our door where debris was coming in from. The door was not quite level with frame. It looked like it was “quickly” cleaned but not great. We stayed for 2 nights visiting with family.

Shower rod wad inside tub not useable, smoke detector covered in plastic wrap on wall, phone wasn't connected to a wall jack no cords on it, room leaked rain thru cracks above door. Complained 15 mins into stay they didn't do anything offer a different room nothing til day we were to check out. We won't go there again didn't even offer a discount on room either terrible stay oh and room faced sun and all but door was glass very hot in room with ac on 60

This is a comfy motel, the beds are comfy and the rooms are nice, the location is near a couple of food places and a gas station is right next door, its quiet at times which is nice, the value is nice, the service is amazing and good, the cleaniness is quite nice, i quite liked it, and the amenities are nice, the channels are quite nice, with a lot of sports channels which is quite nice for sports lovers

The courtesy of the staff during this transition to new ownership has been amazingly comfortable. Property is secured with cameras. Haven't had any issues. Temporary home, reasonable. Everyone has their own opinion. Remember that. God bless Texas
