The Oddfellows Arms

First time eating at Oddfellows Arms tonight. Picked Steak Night as the prices looked amazing value. 1 starter which was delicious. 4 of us each had a sirloin steak, cooked to perfection, with generous sides. We tried all 3 sauces, all of which were fantastic. 3 different puddings - all great. Service was brilliant from everyone, all with a smile. The value was unbelievable - cannot recommend this enough. Thanks Oddies Team.

We stayed here for 1 night it was nice size room and bed was comfy the disappointing things was the shower had no power in it water way to slow and the fridge in room needs a good clean We had drinks in the pub of night and enjoyed a band on shame we couldn't have food they stop serving at 5 on a Saturday.

Lovely location. Enjoyed walking into the small town. Plenty of good eating & drinking places. Decent clean room, very good for the price. The only downside was the thinness of the walls & ceiling. We could hear EVERYTHING & every word in the adjacent room & every movement in the room above. That's fine as you're the one getting up regularly throughout the night or the first ones up having a shower --not so much if you like your sleep & a bit of a lay in beyond 6 am. Overall good stay but some improvements are needed The checkin was fast and efficent, the room and bed were comfortable. The pillows were stained and the fridge had a mouldy smell when you opened it. I was dissapointed that the bar stopped serving by 5:00 on a Saturday. As we only arrived at 4:30. The staff were friendly and the entertainment was good.

Ok for one night. Room was basic and functional. Bathroom smelt due to empty trap in the sink. Outside was unkempt.

Very clean with a comfortable bed, was great for a last minute stay due to my flight being cancelled
