It is rated 3* which is fair,Staff friendly and helpful,rooms adequate, clean and comfortably, nice little garden to sit and have something to eat and drink, good parking room.would book again if visiting this area.

We travelled 4 hours for a family funeral & stayed 2 nights . The wake was also held here & the staff was superb & very helpful.
We would definitely stay here again & recommend to friends & family .

Lovely overnight stay
We were warmly welcomed and all the staff were hard working and friendly. The hotel is in a central position with parking. We enjoyed a home cooked evening meal and a good breakfast. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again if we were in the area.

Very surprised to find Shepton Mallet has turned into a ghost town. 1 uninspiring pub at the bottom of the high street and a bar that look passable 1/2 way up. Then we came across the Shruberry. For 2 nights we ate and drank very friendly service and excellent food. Thank goodness they were there as didn’t want to go out of town to eat and drink

Place was ok but Room Family room for 3 Adults was Small Single Bed had very soft mattress more for a child

Gorgeous hotel. Rooms are spotless and bed was very comfy. Ate dinner and had a lovely GF lasagne, homemade which was reasonably priced too. Breakfast was plentiful and a good choice. Owner was very welcoming and friendly. Close to main amenities in Shepton.

Don't believe the ten year old photos depicted on here.Nowhere near worth the prices charged.Very welcoming but the place is like Fawlty Towers.Better to go to Premier Inn in Wells as at least it would be clean and without the bed bugs.Food is average and over priced.You would have to pay me to stay another night in this place.But I've heard the current owner of this business is very accommodating!
