Hotels in Lo Wu Control Point, Lo Wu Railway Station, Shenzhen

The hotel is located in a good location, about 5 minutes walk from Hubei metro station. There are many restaurants around. Tried the recommended hot pot at the restaurant diagonally across the road. The food great and the design of the restaurant very special. See photos. The reception and the beverage counter is at ground floor. 2 Complimentary coupons, 2nd one at 50% discount are provided for drinks. The latte and cappuccino excellent. The room came with buffet breakfast which is excellent with many choices. The staff very helpful and friendly.

We are a family of 5 and it is our first time staying in a homestay in Shenzhen. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment that comes with a pool in the apartment.The room is clean and the bed is comfortable. The room does not have any fridge or kettle but there is a shared kitchen just right outside the room. The service is good. When we reached the homestay at 3 am, the homestay staff woke up to help us carry our luggage to our room. The room is clean and towels are changed daily. It is easy to find food near the homestay. There are many restaurants within walking distance. It is near to dongmen underground shopping. We will definitely return when we visit Shenzhen.

The room was spotlessly clean, and all toiletries, including bath and face towels, were disposable. The in-room movie experience was fantastic, thanks to a Tencent VIP account offering crystal-clear picture quality. The room was quiet, the service was excellent, and complimentary coffee was a nice touch. Crucially, its location is superb, being extremely close to Luohu Port and the subway station. Having stayed here last year on my trip to Hong Kong, I had no hesitation in rebooking it this year. It consistently provides an excellent experience.

Originally an older upscale hotel, the facade has been recently renovated, giving the entrance a modern and grand appearance. Pros: The hotel boasts an excellent location, just a 10-minute walk from Luohu Port. While the room's original furnishings have a classic, somewhat dated feel, it was spotlessly clean and offered good value for money, especially at less than 400 RMB on a Saturday. Minor drawbacks: 1. The hotel hallways have noticeably low ceilings. 2. Only 3 out of 5 elevators were operational. Major Drawbacks: 1. The banquet hall entrance was directly adjacent to my room. An event was held there in the afternoon, creating significant noise. What's more, guests could only access the banquet hall via the guest room corridor, leading to a constant stream of non-guests passing by my door. If this is the unavoidable route for banquet access, then a room in this location should absolutely not be designated as a guest room; it's only fit for a storage or linen room. 2. The air conditioning (AC) was practically useless. Even set to 18℃ with the fan on high, it only produced a very weak, slightly cool breeze. It struggled all night, only managing to cool the room to 27.5℃, resulting in an uncomfortably hot night. I checked in around noon and only returned to my room after 11:30 PM. With an early check-out the next morning for Hong Kong, I simply didn't have the energy or time to request a room change. I find it hard to believe that the previous guest wouldn't have reported this AC issue.

The hotel exudes an elegant and sophisticated atmosphere. The lobby decor features a subtle retro touch, seamlessly blending with modern sensibilities. All public areas are spotlessly clean, and the elevator lobbies and corridors are remarkably quiet, creating a serene and comfortable environment. The rooms are a comfortable size with a practical layout. The bedding was perfectly soft, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The breakfast spread was extensive, featuring a wide variety of fresh ingredients. The operator, Eirwen, impressed us with her clear and friendly voice, patient demeanor, and prompt responses.

first of all, the location is excellent. it is near to guomao subway station. there is also a large mall called king glory near to the hotel with lots of food and shopping options. the hotel room was very clean and spacious. there were no windows, but there was a fancy wall of (fake) green plants, which gave the room a very homely and cosy vibe. we also liked the heated towel rack and the smart room assistant Xiao Du. the corridor was also clean and had a very pleasant scent. one thing that bothered us a bit was that the aircon was blasting cold air at our faces when we slept, even though we have turned it to the smallest wind setting.

The Renaissance Shenzhen Luohu Hotel is ideally situated in the heart of Shenzhen's Luohu district, offering excellent transportation links. Conveniently located right next to the interchange station for Metro Lines 1 and 3, it's just a few minutes' walk away, making it incredibly easy to reach key commercial hubs like Futian and Nanshan. The surrounding area is well-equipped with commercial amenities, including major shopping malls like MixC and KKMALL, all within walking distance. This means you'll find abundant options for dining, entertainment, and recreation right at your doorstep. The hotel offers an elegant and comfortable ambiance. Its lobby features a modern and stylish design, exuding an artistic flair. It also boasts an outdoor swimming pool and a well-equipped gym, offering guests perfect venues to relax and rejuvenate. Eason and Mina from the guest relations team were particularly polite and courteous. Despite being located in a bustling commercial district, the hotel provides a tranquil retreat. Its excellent soundproofing ensures a peaceful night's sleep without any disturbance. Honghu Park, a pleasant escape just a short walk away, is perfect for a leisurely stroll in the early morning or evening. Overall, with its excellent location and environment, the hotel is well-suited for both business and leisure stays.

Spacious room, clean. The only issue is that the we need to change lift at different level to get to the lobby. Take note that exit A/B from Guomao is preferred as there are escalators. There's no escalator access from exit E

The hotel rooms are brand new, spacious, and the ambiance is fantastic. They are fully equipped with comfortable beds and excellent water pressure, and we loved the smart room controls. The location is super convenient for getting around, being very close to Dongmen Old Street. Highly recommend! Our flight was in the evening, and the front desk staff kindly arranged a late check-out for us. Both the cleaning staff and breakfast service personnel were incredibly friendly and hospitable. While having a laundry service is a thoughtful touch, we were quite disappointed that our washed clothes were not delivered back to our room; we had to go and retrieve them ourselves. What's even more frustrating is that the clothes were still soaking wet as they hadn't been dried at all. As a result, our clothes, which weren't smelly to begin with, now had a worse odor.

Facilities: The facilities are state-of-the-art and well-equipped. The robot delivery service for food was incredibly convenient. Hygiene: Spotlessly clean. Environment: The ambiance was wonderful, and the decor was really tasteful. Service: The service was excellent. Overall, a fantastic experience!
