Here's a detailed review of my stay: 📍 **Location:** One of the hotel's best features is its location. It's close to the metro station, and the public beach is about a 5-minute walk away. However, it's often crowded, not a private beach, and lacks any water sports or activities. It's also right next to the Outlet Village, accessible in just 2-3 minutes via a bridge, which is a great perk for shopping enthusiasts. 🏨 **Arrival and Reception:** The hotel entrance is beautiful and modern, making a great first impression. Upon arrival, the reception area was busy, and unfortunately, we had to carry most of our luggage ourselves. Only one small bag was assisted, while we pushed the rest of our suitcases up to our rooms. We had booked two rooms and were kindly upgraded to a pool-view room for one of them, while the other remained a mountain view as booked. To be honest, the pool-view room was smaller than the original room we had reserved. 🛏️ **Room:** The room was modern, elegant, and high-tech, with everything looking brand new. The toilet (excuse the description) was smart, and the hotel provided a Dyson hairdryer and special, high-quality outdoor slippers. Our room was approximately 50 square meters, making it spacious and comfortable, with two air conditioners providing excellent cooling throughout our stay. The bed and pillows were also very comfortable, ensuring a peaceful sleep. Sound insulation within the room was excellent, and the integrated sound system with the projector/TV was fantastic with great quality. However, when walking through the corridors, you could hear TVs from some rooms. 🧹 **Cleanliness and Service:** Unfortunately, the biggest disappointment was on the last night after the typhoon. During room cleaning, they only cleaned the balcony and emptied the trash, while the room floor remained wet, the bed wasn't made, bathroom tissues weren't replaced, towels weren't changed, and basic amenities weren't refilled. Overall, the service didn't feel like that of a five-star hotel. Most staff members were either busy on their phones or rushing around the restaurant unprofessionally. One surprising incident was when I went for breakfast about 45 minutes before closing, and when I asked for boiled eggs, I was told they weren't available, even though there was still plenty of time before the buffet ended. On the other hand, I'd like to thank the receptionist who checked us in; he spoke fluent English and was very helpful. I also appreciate the staff member responsible for the WeChat service, who was very quick to respond to all our inquiries throughout our stay. 🍽️ **Breakfast:** We stayed for 5 days, and the breakfast was the same every day with no notable variety. For us as Muslims, the options were very limited, mostly consisting of toast, eggs, and fruits. I hope they add more options suitable for international guests. 💡 **Facilities:** * Curtains and lighting are electronically controlled. * There's a robot for room service deliveries, which was a nice touch. * Customer service via WeChat is very quick to respond. * Upon check-in, we received free vouchers for Wish Tower entry, as well as mini-bar drinks. * The pool operates from 2 PM to 10 PM. I think the opening time is too late, especially for those who want to swim in the morning. * The pool is about 120 meters long, with a lifeguard present at all times. * Pool towels are not provided at the pool area; you have to bring them from your room, which I found surprising for a five-star hotel. * There's a small but functional gym. * The pool view is more vibrant and appealing than the mountain view. 📶 **Wi-Fi:** The internet speed was moderate, sufficient for daily use, but not the best. 🛗 **Elevators:** There are only two elevators, but during our stay, the waiting time wasn't long. 🚿 **Bathroom:** The toilet has a heated seat feature but lacks an electronic bidet, which I would have expected in a hotel of this caliber. 👕 **Services:** There's no iron in the room. Instead, there's a laundry room with a steam iron available for use. Frankly, I was surprised that room ironing service wasn't available, especially for a five-star hotel. 🌪️ **During the Typhoon:** Our stay coincided with a typhoon, and the winds were extremely strong, making the balcony door shake frighteningly. Credit to the hotel for securing the pool area and closing it to prevent items from flying around. However, guests were unfortunately not informed of any instructions or warnings; we discovered this ourselves. I would have appreciated a message or notice to reassure guests and explain safety procedures.

First off, the check-in time was indeed quite long, but it's understandable given it was peak summer season. They even offered drinks while we waited, which was a nice touch! As an InterContinental member, I also received two complimentary drinks at the bar. The hotel's facilities are excellent. I went for a spa treatment while my child and husband went swimming – a perfect arrangement. As soon as I finished my spa, the butler notified me that our room key was ready! There was also a welcome fruit platter in the room. The room's view was absolutely unbeatable! We truly felt at home and enjoyed every moment. However, I actually found the breakfast to be even better than the dinner buffet. The oil-splashed noodles at breakfast were delicious 😋, and the chef who made them had such character, clearly demonstrating his passion for food. I really admire him! Thumbs up to him! 👍 For dinner, the seafood wasn't very fresh; the oysters and crab meat were quite loose. Plus, on the second night, we wanted to try the Southeast Asian restaurant, but upon arrival, many dishes were unavailable, which was a bit disappointing, so we left to eat elsewhere. Also, the restaurant closes at 9:30 PM. Overall, having stayed at this hotel over 10 years ago, returning now with my child, I still highly recommend it! The pool and beach are amazing, offering great privacy for guests! We will definitely be back 😊

We booked a family suite for our family trip, which included four breakfasts. Upon arrival, the front desk kindly upgraded us to a sea-view room. From the room, we had a panoramic view of the yacht club and the ocean – the scenery was absolutely stunning. The hotel rooms aren't directly on the private beach, but there's a scheduled shuttle bus that runs every 30 minutes. It's only a 3-minute ride to the private beach, which is very convenient. Both the breakfast and dinner buffets were extended until 10 AM, which is especially great for families who enjoy a leisurely meal or sleeping in. The staff were very helpful, and overall, we had a fantastic resort experience. I highly recommend it for family trips.

This was a great stay! The hotel's location is super convenient for getting around. The room was spotless, with good natural light, and the soft bedding made for a very comfortable sleep. The public areas were clean, and the overall ambiance was elegant. Aisy at the front desk was very polite, handled check-in efficiently, and was quick to respond to our needs. The facilities are well-maintained, and overall it offers great value for money. We had a very pleasant stay and will definitely choose this hotel first next time we're in the area. The cleaning staff, however, weren't very patient or enthusiastic.

This B&B offers a Japanese forest-style design, perfect for those traveling by car. Surrounded by trees, it's private and peaceful. The housekeeper contacted us in advance to confirm our itinerary and naturally helped with our luggage upon arrival. The room, though not large, was very airy, with two windows facing the forest. I woke up to bird calls in the morning, and the rainy weather created a special sense of tranquility. It gets genuinely dark and quiet in the mountains at night. Initially, the sound of insects felt a bit noisy, but I got used to it, and it became quite soothing. Breakfast wasn't a buffet; an auntie freshly prepared it. It was healthy and comforting, simple yet warming to the stomach. We had a delightful day at the B&B. It’s a warm and relaxing guesthouse perfect for unwinding, with friendly yet unobtrusive service. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to escape the city and truly breathe.

This hotel is really great! The environment is lovely, and the rooms are super clean. It's also incredibly convenient for visiting all the attractions around Dameisha, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. I'd definitely recommend this hotel for anyone coming to Dameisha again.

I was immediately impressed upon entering – the sea view is stunning! The room is incredibly spacious, and the air conditioning was already on, which was a nice touch. The service was excellent, and the room was very clean. Their shower gel smells wonderful, and combined with the sea view, it felt just like a Hawaiian vacation. The coffee was amazing; the Americano uses beans from Sam's Club, no wonder it's so fragrant and delicious! I loved it. The breakfast was also tasty, I just forgot to take a picture. I definitely want to come back next time!

Our family had a weekend getaway to Dameisha Beach, and our stay exceeded expectations! The hotel facilities were brand new, and the dedicated children's play area allowed the kids to play freely and burn off energy. The beach was within walking distance, and it wasn't far from the subway, offering flexible transportation options. Free parking was a huge relief, eliminating the hassle of finding a spot, and the self-service laundry room was very convenient for washing wet clothes after playing in the sea. There's also a gym, so adults can work out if they have time. The overall atmosphere was comfortable and relaxing, making it perfect for families with young children on a short vacation. We even got a free upgrade at the front desk when we arrived late, which made the experience even better. Excellent value for money!

We went to MGM SZ for weekend getaway, with my wifey and daughter to celebrate wedding anniversary. Right when we arrived at MGM Shenzhen, our experience was amazing!!! The checkin went very smooth and we were given an upgrade of our suite on 9/F with 270 degrees panoramic view of the sea! The room was a majestically large, with a huge balcony for us to do yoga the next morning. The interior design was nature themed and felt so relaxing. The circular tub was huge! and had a clear view out to the sky past the balcony. The hotel staff went out of their way to celebrate our anniversary by giving cake, chocolates in our room, decorating our dining table with rose petals and a flower when we went to FIAMMA, and free family photo session! The staff service, food quality and presentation of the dishes was top notch black pearl level! There was so much to do at the hotel and at the huge beach right out front. The hotel outdoor environment is definitely very unique w a beautiful unobstructed view of the sea and a 2km long beach that managed veryvwell! Lots to play there including water sports, swimming in sea and eateries.! Not least is the outdoor swimming pool, kids play facilities in hotel! I also booked a space on 3F of hotel podium to hold a celebration event with a flower backdrop installation for my wife. Karen Chen and Lisa 宝儿, of sales/events planning department, did a super splendid work, professional and accommodating in facilitating the process and ensuring our stay and celebration was excellent! Lisa was very on top of the event and answered all my queries instantly, and coordinated with the vendor to set up. Still lots great things to say, but getting to long, so in sum we will be definitely going back to MGM SZ, with friends an family, and to enjoy the many attactions and facilities that we havent done yet!!!

Nearby, there's a park and a popular mini-train ride, though it can get a bit crowded. It's perfect for a family of four to spend two days. The hotel lobby also offers complimentary tea and water service, which is a nice convenience. The breakfast buffet offered a rich variety of choices. During check-in, our initial room wasn't quite ready, but after we brought it to their attention, they promptly moved us to another room. The room was thoughtfully equipped for children with kid-sized bathrobes, slippers, and cups. The cleanliness was impressive; you could tell the cleaning staff put a lot of effort into their work. On our second morning, a staff member even greeted us at breakfast, making us feel truly cared for and highlighting their professionalism. While the hotel's interior design style is comfortable, there's room for improvement in the attention to detail. Overall, this is a family-friendly resort hotel with good value for money, and the experience was quite positive.
